Student at warriors academy

Very good for getting to know about yourself and pushes you outside of your comfort zone. You get to experience it with very unique people and people from overseas which is interesting because you get to learn about them.It makes you think outside of the box amd you get to do things you never thought you would be able to do.You gain alot of experience about how and why certain things are done and you learn about nature and how to do different things. You get a chance to make friends with people you’d think you would normally make friends with.

Warriors First Quest 2024

I have never done any extreme adventure which made this program really fun. I loved making connections and meeting new people from different backgrounds.i enjoyed the cycle safari which was so much fun and I enjoyed the traditional African food. I loved seeing myself progress in fitness level as the quest went on. The facilitators and Mais are absolutely amazing and I have got to know all of them quite well. The area is beautiful and lush and green and worth visiting. The farmstall across the road is absolutely amazing.

Great gap year

Warriors academy is a very fun program to do when you have a gap year, even for just one quest. You learn a lot about your mental state but also how to push your limits. It teaches you as well to be on your own and be more responsible. The group is very fun and you will make friends for life. All the staff are always there to help you with whatever and are really good listeners and give great advise. I would recommend this to everybody. This was honestly a great time that I will remember for the rest of my life.

What is your advice to future travelers on this program?
Don’t worry to much. It will all happen at its time. The staff doesn’t tell you to much about what your doing in the next few days, so just let it all happen and push yourself to finish strong.
Pros
  • Great staff
  • Fun group of people
  • Good activities
Cons
  • Staff not always to clear about what’s happening

Warriors Summer Quest 2024

I had a great time developing my personal growth, and will remember this program forever. There are lots of people and staff that welcomed me here with open arms. I came to this program from a long ways away so I had to find the courage to push myself to join. I am so glad that I did, because the activities I performed, the people I met, and the mental fortitude I gained are all unforgettable. Lastly, I am leaving this program in the best physical shape I’ve been in for a very long time. Thank you warriors academy.

Warriors Summer Quest

There is almost too much to talk about with the warriors. The mental mastery and growth I’ve had here was unmatched to anything I’ve done to this point. I was very nervous traveling across the world to a foreign country but the staff and people here are one of a kind. I’ve made connections here that I feel will last a lifetime. As an American there were so many experiences that I will never be able to have in the states just because of the natural wildlife and scenery. If you’re looking to push your limits this is a great place to be.

Warriors 2024

Comming to warriors I expected nothing like this, I expected this comfortable activities. I was so wrong, the staff team pushed everyone out of their comfortzone and did crazy stuff, they knew what they were doing and is so well trained noone got bad injuries. This also opened my eyes to what is outside the world. They pushed me so much that I did stuff I did not think was possable for me to do, they are always so supportive and always check safety before anything else. They wont force you to do stuff but push you far enough for you to do it yourself.

Fun

I had a really fun time during it all, staff treat you like their your friend and not a client but also take the fact youre their client into account so they do look after you with standards. The activities were extremely challenging however all the staff push you beyond your limits and help you overcome it all. I loved my experience and im sure anyone else coming here would as well. The food is also satisfying for every Breakfast lunch and dinner but can require getting used to but youll definitely find your favourite foods quick here. AND HELEN AND ROWENA IS THE BEST

What a trip. Such amazing beautiful people, everyone is so supportive and push you to your mental and physical limit. If you are looking for an amazing gap year definitely give it a look at and if your not sure definitely one quest (7 weeks)
If you are looking for an eye and mind opening experience I would definitely recommend the 1st quest as it touches on self mastery and self development.
The experiences you will have on this quest will live with you for a lifetime. This gap year will push you to your limit.

Going a year beyond

I completed my gap year at Warriors Academy in 2022. It was the best year of my live and unexpectedly was the most live changing, in that I developed greatly as a person doing something I learnt I really enjoyed. This personal growth and the opportunities provided ultimately lead to me deciding to join the 2nd year program offered by Warriors Academy, The Multi-Activity Adventure Instructor (MAI) Program. Don't confuse this as a second gap year, it is quite the opposite. The MAI program is more like a traineeship where you get trained as an outdoor instructor. The primary fields you get trained to guide in is Hiking, Mountain biking, Abseiling, White water rafting and Rock climbing. The training also includes various life skills such as team leadership, first aid, incident management and getting ready at 2am. This 2nd year at Warriors Academy doing the MAI program really took my gap year and turned it into career path. I would highly recommend it for those interested in working in the adventure industry or even just those looking for a life changing experience.
