Das Istituto Europeo hat mich für ein Praktikum an eine Werbefilm-Firma vermittelt und dort habe ich 4 wunderbare Monate gearbeitet. Ich habe einen sehr guten Einblick in den Arbeitsalltag bekommen, da ich überall mit dabei sein durfte. Beim Dreh habe ich assistiert und übernahm die Verantwortung für den Aufbau und das Licht am Set. Mir wurde alles erklärt und ich habe viel über die Wirkung bestimmter Aufnahmen und Perspektiven gelernt. Bei der Postproduktion wurde immer nach meiner Meinung gefragt und ich durfte auch selber schneiden. Nebenbei hat sich mein Italienisch sehr verbessert, da ich es jeden Tag gesprochen habe. Ich habe meine Zeit in Florenz sehr genossen und das Praktikum hat mir unglaublich viel Spaß gemacht.

Eind zomer 2015 besloot ik voor drie maanden te gaan studeren in Florence. Italië is op zich geen vreemd land voor mij, want ik kom hier al jaren in de zomervakantie. Toch vroeg ik me in het vliegtuig, op de heenweg, wel even af waar ik nou in godsnaam aan begonnen was. Enerzijds was ik ontzettend benieuwd naar het ontdekken van deze stad, anderzijds vond ik het ook spannend om me alleen in een vreemde stad in een vreemd land te begeven. Achteraf kan ik zeggen dat ik een fantastische tijd heb gehad. Dit zal me voor de rest van mijn leven bijblijven.
Met dank aan Istituto Europeo heb ik de taal pas echt goed leren spreken. Daarnaast had ik veel profijt van de Italiaanse docenten, die mij in detail konden uitleggen wat bijvoorbeeld een handgebaar of spreekwoord inhield. Het fijne aan Istituto Europeo is dat de taallessen alleen in de ochtend zijn. Dat betekent dat je de hele middag de tijd hebt om op eigen houtje (of met je nieuwe vrienden) de stad te verkennen. Florence is daar de perfecte stad voor. Er zijn talloze musea en bezienswaardigheden, maar ook café's, markten en restaurants. Zelfs na drie maanden in Florence te hebben gewoond heb ik het gevoel dat ik zo veel dingen nog niet heb gezien. Gelukkig zijn er bij Istituto Europeo nog aanvullende cursussen die je een beetje wegwijs maken in de overdaad aan kunst en cultuur in deze stad. Ik heb naast de taallessen ook kunstgeschiedenis gevolgd. Hierin heb ik veel geleerd over de kunst uit de middeleeuwen en de renaissance die Florence bezit.
Ik kan Istituto Europeo aanraden, omdat je hier met open armen wordt ontvangen door een groep lieve mensen. Ik heb veel van ze geleerd, en zonder deze taal- en cultuurcursussen had ik het lang niet zo leuk gevonden.

In nov 2015 was het mijn 4e keer op het Istituto Europeo.
Het welkom van Rinaldo en Fabrizio was hartverwarmend.
De school is niet groot, de locatie in Florence fantastisch , op de hoek van via Tornobuoni vlakbij de rivier de Arno.
De leerlingengroep is zeer gemengd van jong tot ouder.
Vaak is er muziek en operazang te horen van zangers/zangeressen, die in Italiaans leren zingen.
De staf is gemotiveerd.
Deze keer had ik 6 ochtenden privéles van Gemma Godi.
Godi is dus vertaald:geniet of enjoy!
Zij deed haar naam eer aan.zij was fantastisch en ik heb van haar lessen genoten.
De week is omgevlogen en ik heb weer heel veel bijgeleerd.
Een aanrader voor iedereen, die Italiaans wil leren spreken en ook schrijven, en dat in zo'n mooie stad als Florence.

Wir haben in den letzten beiden Wochen einen Intensiv-Sprachkurs am Instituto Europeo gemacht. Die Tage waren lang und anstrengend, aber es hat auch Spass gemacht. Ein grosses Danke an die Lehrer Siliva und Alessandro, die uns nicht nur viel beigebracht haben, sondern auch super Tipps fuer Florenz und Umgebung hatten.
Fuer einen noch angenehmeren Aufenthalt haetten wir uns noch ausfuehrlichere Arbeitsunterlagen und etwas mehr Modernitaet der Schule gewuenscht.
Wenn man in Florenz einen Sprachkurs macht, muss man auf jeden Fall auch Florenz und die Toskana gesehen haben.

In short? The best vacation. I was for the first time alone in a foreign country and we all know that that is always the best way to learn a foreign language. It was great to meet other students from all over the world. The istitute has students from any corner of the globe and a very lively, international community. I made a lot of new friendships, many of which I'm still in contact with. I really liked Florence and it wasn't my first time there and certainly not the last. I'm certainly planning to go back soon enough!

Here is my story at istituto Europeo: I was looking for an Internship opportunity in some European country when an old friend of mine passed the wind of Istituto Europeo to me. I've got several options in Germany, Italy and France. As I was short of time and I had to get the ball rolling.
You know what I did? I made a list of advantages and disadvantages of all the institutions I could pass my Internship at, I contacted the coordinators, had an interview with them and only the coordinator at Istituto Europeo responded to all of my questions patiently, showed his own willingness and support for me to pass an Internship with them.
But still I've got cold feet before arriving to Florence as I had no idea of what was gonna happen next.
But as soon as I entered the university all the worries and fear disappeared since the management staff was already waiting for me with the necessary documents ready.
Frankly speaking I had the best couple of months in my life in Florence. Italy is a wonderland.
Istituto Europeo gives you great opportunities to practice, share your own experience and get more and more skills and knowledge that you will definitely to use the rest of your life.
In other words, take your chance, you are not gonna regret it!!!

My experience in the European Institute has been really good. They have always commissioned me to work within my field (which is advertising) and they have given me a lot of freedom to develop my creativity and contribute ideas, which in this type of work is very positive.

Mi experiencia en el Istituto Europeo ha sido verdaderamente buena. Me han encargado trabajos siempre dentro de mi ámbito (que es la publicidad) y me han dado mucha libertad para desarrollar mi creatividad y aportar ideas, lo cual en este tipo de trabajo es muy positivo.
El trato que he tenido con los compañeros ha sido magnífico, es un lugar muy agradable para trabajar y hay muy buen ambiente. El sitio en el que está es estupendo, porque está en pleno centro de Florencia, y esto me ha permitido ver cada día algunos de los lugares más bonitos de la ciudad. Por otro lado, además del trabajo, en la escuela se han preocupado de que conozca la cultura florentina, me han enseñado lugares y costumbres típicamente toscanos y me han facilitado mi estancia en Florencia informándome de cómo moverme por la ciudad, qué sitios ver...
En resumen, diría que han sido unas prácticas muy agradables, que me han permitido aprender y desarrollar mi trabajo como publicista y que me han ayudado a sumergirme en la cultura florentina y a hacer mi estancia más fácil. Estoy muy contenta con la experiencia.

To był bardzo udany pobyt. Jestem zadowolona z kursu. Lekcje były ciekawe, lektorzy zaangażowani. Kurs był prowadzony profesjonalnie, zajęcia były „na poważnie” – były prace domowe, testy. Szkoła uczy mówić, pisać, i oczywiście są zajęcia z gramatyki. Możesz liczyć na duży postęp!

Wszyscy w szkole są bardzo mili i uczynni, zawsze uśmiechnięci. Chętnie doradzają co warto zwiedzić, gdzie zjeść, jak dojechać.

Otoczony językiem włoskim chłoniesz język jak gąbka – nie ma lepszego i przyjemniejszego sposobu nauki.

No i Florencja – urzekająca, piękna i zniewalająca!

The two-week individual course, or super-intensive course as it is called here, was a great experience and made a big difference in my language. Thanks to the good structure of the courses with grammar lessons in the morning and conversation exercises in the afternoon, you will be linguistically 'fit' in no time at all. Especially my two teachers Caris and Sara got the best out of my language skills and after two weeks of intensive courses I can speak Italian much better than I would have expected at the beginning.
During the course you will receive various working documents, which, however, often lack the finishing touches to structure and clarity. In order to make the experience even better overall, I would have liked a somewhat more modern learning environment.

If you take this course, you can be sure not only to improve your Italian significantly, but also always get the best tips for restaurants, excursions and 'must do's. All in all definitely recommendable!

Der zweiwoechige Einzelunterricht, bzw. Superintesivkurs wie er hier heisst, war eine tolle Erfahrung und hat mich sprachlich ein grosses Stueck weitergebracht. Durch die gute Struktur des Kurse mit Grammatikunterricht am Vormittag und Konversationsuebungen am Nachmittag wird man im Handumdrehen sprachlich 'fit'. Vor allem meine beiden Lehrerinnen Caris und Sara haben dabei das Beste aus meinen Sprachkenntnissen rausgeholt und nach zwei Woche Intesivkurs kann ich deutlich besser Italienisch als ich das anfangs erwartet haette.
Waehrend des Kurses erhaelt man diverse Arbeitsunterlagen, denen allerdings oft der letzte Schliff an Struktur und Uebersichtlichkeit fehlt. Um die Erfahrung in Summe noch besser zu machen, haette ich mir ein etwas moderneres Lernumfeld gewuenscht.

Wer diesen Kurs macht kann sich sicher sein nicht nur sein Italienisch deutlich aufbessern zu koennen sondern bekommt auch stets die besten Tipps fuer Restaurants, Ausfluege und 'Must Do's. Alles in allem definitiv empfehlenswert!

I took one-to-one Italian classes at this institute last year. Not only was I able to improve my Italian but also learned more about Italian culture and other aspects of the Italian people daily lives. Which is just great, I think! My teacher, Laura, was very, very supportive and had a very effective methodology. She was very well trained. All in all, I highly recommend this school. I think you cannot really get any better than this in Florence, or perhaps in the entire Tuscany! Just an amazing experience and an amazing school!
