Sono ormai alla fine dei miei quasi tre mesi qui, e sono davvero triste all’idea di partire: è stata una delle esperienze più belle della mia vita e tornerei qui ogni anno senza esitazione. È davvero la migliore opportunità per conoscere la cultura cinese e, soprattutto, per migliorare la lingua.

I docenti sono estremamente competenti e sanno guidarti in ogni fase dell’apprendimento. La mia insegnante, in particolare, è stata incredibilmente preparata e supportive: ha adattato le lezioni in base alle mie richieste e ai miei bisogni, aiutandomi tantissimo a progredire e a sentirmi più sicura nel parlare.

Lo staff è fantastico: ti supporta al 100% in qualunque cosa, permettendoti di dedicarti interamente allo studio della lingua. Sono sempre disponibili, anche fuori dall’orario di lavoro, per aiutarti o chiarire qualsiasi dubbio.

Anche i servizi della scuola, il cibo, la posizione della scuola, le caratteristiche della stanza sono davvero ottimali.
Ho amato il fatto che ogni settimana ci fosse un programma di attività giornaliere: puoi scegliere come vivere la città, scoprire la Cina, trascorrere tempo con gli altri studenti e stringere nuove amicizie. Allo stesso tempo hai la libertà di organizzarti come preferisci e dedicarti anche ad attività individuali per esplorare tutto ciò che desideri.

I'm now at the end of my almost three months here, and I'm really sad to leave: it was one of the best experiences of my life, and I would return here every year without hesitation. It's truly the best opportunity to learn about Chinese culture and, above all, to improve my language skills.

The teachers are extremely knowledgeable and know how to guide you through every stage of learning. My teacher, in particular, was incredibly knowledgeable and supportive: she tailored the lessons to my requests and needs, helping me tremendously to progress and feel more confident in speaking.

The staff is fantastic: they support you 100% in everything, allowing you to focus entirely on learning the language. They are always available, even outside of working hours, to help you or clarify any questions.

The school services, food, location, and room amenities are also truly excellent.
I loved the fact that each week there was a daily activity program: you could choose how to experience the city, discover China, spend time with other students, and make new friends. At the same time, you had the freedom to organize your time as you wish and also dedicate yourself to individual activities to explore everything you wanted.

A complete, intense, and unforgettable experience.

Questa è stata la mia prima esperienza in Cina, tre mesi alla Keats di Kunming. Sono arrivata qui con nessuna certezza, tranne quella di non sapere esprimermi in cinese. Dopo tre mesi qui ho acquisito più consapevolezza grazie all’ambiente in cui ho vissuto (accogliente, familiare, tutti disponibili ad aiutarti e a conversare con te in cinese per abituarti alla lingua, ma in maniera del tutto naturale e senza pressioni) e alle lezioni individuali con la professoressa Wang (gentile, capace, comprensiva, paziente). Sono grata di aver scelto Kunming per la mia prima esperienza in Cina, credo sia la città ideale: clima perfetto, abitanti calorosi e stile di vita confortevole. Ho conosciuto tantissime persone speciali e ho accumulato tanti ricordi indelebili fatti di escursioni fuori porta, visite ai principali punti di interesse della città e viaggi brevi con gli amici incontrati qui (Chengdu, Shanghai). Non c’è stato mai un momento di sconforto o di insoddisfazione, consigliato! ✅

This was my first experience in China, three months at Keats in Kunming. I arrived here with no certainties, except that I couldn't express myself in Chinese. After three months here, I gained more awareness thanks to the environment I lived in (welcoming, familiar, everyone available to help you and converse with you in Chinese to help you get used to the language, but in a completely natural and unpressured way) and the individual lessons with Professor Wang (kind, capable, understanding, patient). I'm grateful to have chosen Kunming for my first experience in China; I think it's the ideal city: perfect climate, warm people, and a comfortable lifestyle. I met so many special people and have accumulated so many unforgettable memories made up of excursions out of town, visits to the city's main attractions, and short trips with friends I met here (Chengdu, Shanghai). There was never a moment of discouragement or dissatisfaction. Recommended! ✅

I studied at Keats School in Kunming for two weeks and had an amazing experience. My teacher, Ms. Han, was incredibly kind, patient, and truly dedicated to helping me improve. She designed every class around my goals and created real-life situations for me to practice speaking.

During my first week, she even took me climbing because I mentioned I enjoyed it. She taught me how to use WeChat to pay for public transport and encouraged me to ask locals for directions in Chinese—an experience that boosted my confidence immediately. In the second week, we went shopping for tea and qipao, so I could practice naturally with shopkeepers.

Thanks to her, my speaking improved much faster than I expected. I highly recommend Keats School, especially learning with Ms. Han.

Studying at Keats allowed me to fully focus on Mandarin. Having on-site cafeteria meals with other students was a highlight for conversation practice . The school's activities helped me make friends, and its city-center location was ideal for exploring beautiful Kunming, a city known for its eternal spring weather.

I first started studying at Keats in 2024. I enjoyed it so much that I decided to come back in 2025 to study at the Chengdu campus.

The Chengdu campus is clean and beautifully decorated. The food is also amazing with a good variety that changes daily.

The best thing about Keats is its teachers. I'm very grateful to my teacher, Su 老师, who I studied with for a month. She was extremely patient and flexible with her study methods, focusing on the skills that I wanted. I enjoyed every class with her as she is extremely knowledgeable in many areas, including Chinese history so I got to learn about that too. We even went on a weekend trip to Chongqing!

When you study at Keats, you also have the opportunity to immerse yourself in cultural activities such as traditional art or visiting temples. Thank you to Claire, the activity/life coordinator, who arranged these events for us.

You also get to meet people from all around the world who you would never have the opportunity to meet in your everyday life!

I really hope to have the opportunity to study with Keats again in 2026! A big thank you again to Su 老师 and Claire！

Short duration with great opportunities to polish your Chinese language skills!
I joined a 1-week, 1-on-1 Chinese class at Keats, and it was an amazing experience. The personalized lessons helped me significantly improve my speaking skills in a short time. What makes Keats special is that learning doesn’t stop in the classroom—you also have plenty of free time to practice Chinese in real-life situations and explore the beautiful city of Kunming. Highly recommended for anyone looking to boost their Chinese quickly and effectively!

I had recently just gotten out of high school and had a full gap year ahead of me with nothing planned, so I decided to come to china based on my love of the food and my experience in Chinese class from high school (which I didn't learn too much from). I can successfully say that I am walking out of this school with far beyond what I expected of myself language wise. Very happy with my lovely teacher and all my great friends I made here. Kunming is also a really laid back cool town that offers a much different (and better) experience than the other cities. Please consider Keats school in Kunming.

It was a pleasant surprise to discover Keats. I joined the 1:1 class, and I feel that the biggest advantage of studying at Keats is that the teacher tailors the learning materials not only to your level but also to your goals and interests. I also learned a lot about the everyday lifestyle of people in Kunming and China’s pop culture from my wonderful teacher, Ms. Wang. Her delivery was so engaging that every lesson was genuinely fun to attend.

Keats Kunming is close to the city centre and conveniently located near a metro station, making it an easy and comfortable place to stay. Meals are served in a large communal dining room where students and teachers often eat and chat together. The counsellor, Yurina, is amazing—super friendly and incredibly efficient—so you always feel well taken care of.

In addition to evening indoor activities, the school also organised excursions around Kunming. It was a wonderful blend of learning and holiday, and my only regret is that I should have stayed longer.

I studied in Keats School for three months, it was an amazing experience. The teaching methods are great, my Chinese level improved so much, feel mire confident communicating in Chinese. All of the facets of the language is covered, for me the speaking part was particularly well covered.

All the activities organized the evenings and weekends allows us to discover and feel more the Chinese culture.

The school students are from all other the world and all ages, everyone can come study here.

I strongly recommend studying in Keats for learning Chinese.

I just finished 12 weeks of studying at Keats Kunming, and it was an amazing experience. Since the start, when picking me up at the airport and all throughout my stay here, everyone has been really kind and helpful. The room was comfortable, and it is really convenient that everything is in the same building, room, meals, classes, and the advisors. I was in a group class with Ms. Peng. She was incredibly patient and made the classes entertaining with all the different activities to learn and practice the new vocabulary and grammar structures. I also joined the school activities where we visited night markets, parks, learned to play different Chinese board games, taichi, archery, and other cultural activities. Kunming is a great city to learn Chinese with a lot of beautiful touristic spots, but also big shopping malls and varied food options. If you are thinking about coming here, you will not regret it.

During one week, I took classes of Mr. Zhang at Keats School in the beautiful spring city of Kunming. It was excellent, fun and rewarding. I started with hardly no knowledge of the Chinese characters, and a basic level of pinyin. Mr. Zhang helped me to understand the structure, The Strokes the radicals of many characters. I was astonished of my learning curve thanks to the supportive and professional help of Mr. Zhang and the school. I am forever grateful of this positive experience and I am motivated to keep learning.
