A really high class program and staff. This program will get to the key points and give you deep understanding of the Central American Refugee Crisis. Wonderful speakers with plenty of interaction with speakers and other participants. Food and housing great. There's some time for fun too. If you are serious about learning from the experts this is the one. Critstosal has been working in El Salvador and elsewhere in the Northern Triangle for more than a decade.

I have attended three Global School programs, and they have all been excellent. As an immigration defense attorney, what I have learned about Salvadoran history, culture, and context has been invaluable to my asylum cases, and I have also benefited personally from these experiences. They have challenged and shaped my worldview, and I've connected with both U.S. and Salvadoran colleagues. I highly recommend this program.

I participated in an introductory course offered by Cristosal. We studied how Cristosal uses the lens of Social Justice and the data of Sociological and Psychological Research to work for Human Rights with the people of El Salvador; one case at a time. In parallel we explored history and historical sights in San Salvador and environs.

I came away with a new understanding of how to support Human Rights in an effective and enduring manner, and a new appreciation for the long-term unintended consequences of intervention in foreign affairs.
