I would 10/10 recommend this course. The support was great and the platform was easily accessible. There's 10 units and all are really easy to follow. The tests at the end of each unit are straightforward and worthwhile. Feedback is provided by tutors for each assignment and I found this very helpful. There's 3 assignments and you get 3 attempts on each, giving you a chance to succeed and pass the course. The content is interesting and overall I was really delighted to engage with the 6 month course. It was very beneficial and I feel more confident now if I was to go abroad and teach English as a foreign language.

The spur-of-the-moment decision to purchase and complete this course really paid off and was everything I expected and more! The six-month time frame suggested was well within my ability to balance my current job while working on my TEFL qualification. I found it easy to pace myself with the course content, had no trouble communicating with the very efficient admin and tutor support, and found the assignments fun yet optimally challenging, thanks to the clear and well-thought out instructions. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience!

It's a very comprehensive course covering many TEFL topics. The assignments are of a very high standard, so you might have to resubmit if you don't do well but you do get 3 attempts. The staff give comprehensive feedback on the assignments. It's self-paced so you can do it anytime (within 6 months). The free top-up courses provided with the course are excellent and give more value for money. The course content is very interesting. There are quizzes at the end of units to test your knowledge. I am glad to have done this course!

A brilliant and engaging course with helpful, timely feedback on assignments. I particularly appreciated the 'further reading' links at the end of each unit which allowed topics to be explored in even more depth. The site is well-presented and easy to navigate with quizzes at the end of each unit to check understanding.

The online platform is very user friendly and the lessons have valuable content for anybody wanting to start a career as an ESL teacher.

After submitting the assignments, I would always receive constructive feedback from the staff, that would help me improve my next submission. I can tell that they carefully read my work and paid attention to what they were sendinh to me as feedback as well.

They also provide additional resources and tips to prepare the teachers for their first lessons.

I recently completed the combined level 5 TEFL course. My experience was amazing and with the support of the TEFL team I could complete the course. The course material are well organised and helpful for your future career as a EFL teacher. I would recommend this course to anyone with a passion for teaching and education in general. There is constant support to help you reach your goals. You will also receive assistance with your CV and covering letter to find a job. I am looking forward to working as an EFL teacher and travelling the world.

After a lot of research, as a Canadian/South African, I felt that The TEFL Academy was the best option for me. It is recognized all over the world. It helped me score a job in China as a first time teacher. Although the program/learning is online, it is very easy to follow and navigate. I found the units intellectually stimulating and incredibly informative. Plus, TFA keeps sending me information about jobs and how to kick off a career in TEFL, it's really nice that they support and motivate you after you've finished the course.
