Overall the experience was great, the value of the project is amazing. If you are short on funding for a Tefl and want to travel, this course is perfect.

You will make great new friends from around the UK and the world, experience new cultures from the way people eat and spend time with family to big national festivals. I highly recommend.

When I was placed on the course it was one of the first programmes like it so there were some teething problems. Such as course management with the Tefl and sickness due to higiene as it is a less developed country.

Overall I think the project is worth it with Gotoco but they need to fix the management for the Tefl at LT&D as it is very disorganised for such a highly rated course.

Gotoco is an incredible company. They are working in multiple countries to provide an experience that could quite possibly change the direction of your life. Not only do they provide the opportunity to travel, but also to join with like-minded individuals all invested in the career path of an English as a foreign language teacher. All of this and its so affordable that it would be foolish to pass up. These guys opened a door to a career I didn't even know I wanted, and gave me memories that I will never forget!

An amazing fully funded programme that lets you learn a new skill and see a new country. Cultural trips are organised on the weekends as well as trips before and after teaching, so the travel itch is scratched. Then in the week teaching in a school in Thailand which is as fun as it is rewarding.

The programme is fully funded which saves a tonne on flights and other expenses like accommodation, food and insurance. And beyond this it is great fun, have made friends for life in this unforgettable experience.

This experience with GoToCo was definitely one of the best decisions I've ever made. Going into this trip, I was quite hesitant, as like everyone else, I assumed it was a scam so I didn't know what to expect. However, this trip definitely exceeded my expectations. From, meeting new people, to exploring Thailand and being able to immerse myself in another culture, it was all surreal. It's a fully funded trip with a government-funded TESOL qualification by the end of it and a chance to gain quality teaching experience. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who is looking for a new adventure, whether it's solo traveling or with a group of friends, this is the perfect programme for you. I just finished a 7 week program in Thailand with Gotoco and had a such a great experience. Joining a program is really beneficial and definitely gives you a chance to explore new places, meet new friends, learn different languages and a different perspective on life/yourself. It is a perfect gateway to start teaching English and Gotoco gives you all the resources you need to become a fully qualified TESOL teacher. There are also many great opportunities to travel and explore on weekends and the end of the program, whether that be on your own or with Gotoco. I had such a good time that I will be participating on another program next month!

I think this program is brilliant. Its a small program so if I hadn’t have heard about it through university I wouldn’t have participated as it seemed too good to be true. But it really is different from other tefl programs on the market in that its fully funded as said. They book your flight, pay your accommodation and food (or provide a food stripend) and you get an amazing experience out of it. All you need to do is teach children English which is an amazing experience in itself, and complete your TEFL, which is also funded by gov grants. Then you get an added bonus of meeting new people, experiencing a new culture and having a couple days holiday when its all done!

I really enjoyed my time at the Bali, Indonesia 6 week teaching programme. It was great to experience a different and new country and their culture. It was also great to experience a potential career pathway which gave me an insight of what I would like to do in the future.

I made loads of friends and learned so much about the world and myself. I went onto doing another programme as I enjoyed this one so much. I loved travelling in between the programmes and would definitely recommend a Gotoco programme to everyone!

Is a great way to explore the world as well as build professional experience and get a recognised certification.
The most enjoyable moment of the trip was my week in the Amazon where I had the opportunity to stay with an indigenous family and experience their culture through immersion. I was also able to join University in the country to learn the language and make friends with so many people from diverse backgrounds. Finally working with kids was also very rewarding and they were very grateful for me to be there.

Deciding to take the plunge and take part in a Gotoco programme has been one of the best decisions I could have made. I've always wanted to experience living/working abroad and Gotoco has made that transition for me very seamless and they have been there every step of the way. The staff at Gotoco have been extremely approachable and are always there to help/answer any queries or issues I have. On top of that, they have gone above and beyond to organise fun, cultural experiences for us and incredible trips to islands with excursions like snorkelling. I would recommend a programme with Gotoco to anyone who wants a sense of adventure, with added support along the way!
