David was really friendly, engaging and helpful. I enjoyed the course. We were taught many techniques that would be really good to share with any future students or teachers. We were reassured that no one knows everything and that we will learn on the job. It was also nice to mix with different people and discover other futureoptions after the course. The course wasn't too heavy and David made sure he kept it light and fun it didn't feel like work at all. We were given a booklet for reference and the option the recive the slides used in the class. We also were given many resources to aid lesson planning and also job search sites. This course for myself was a stepping stone to try volunteer before continuing my journey and doing a CELTA. This course would be helpful for anyone thinking of teaching English as a language or any teacher looking for more information and technique about engaging teaching methodology.

The tefl training weekend was excellent. Very impressed with David’s knowledge and ability. Very helpful feedback that will make me more confident in teaching abroad. Met some very interesting people and got some good ideas. Doing the course has been invaluable. I’m really pleased that I did it.

The course was at a good pace and covered a lot of ground.

The explanations were clear and there was many exercises to make it a very interactive weekend.

I’m looking forward to putting into practice.

I really enjoyed the weekend course. I left feeling confident and read to my online hours without struggling that much. I really enjoyed learning about the teaching techniques as well as practicing them.
I enjoyed the mini games played at the beginning to get us all feeling relaxed.
I liked the mini breaks through out as they were helpful.
The tutor was very friendly and approachable and kept us entertained through out the course.
The grammar aspect was good, especially the phenology as doing pronunciation was very Fun.
The group work element of the course was really fun. The engagement with course was good. It was a very interactive course through tasks and games.
The location for the course was easy to find and was a very nice area. Overall very happy.

I had Asif for my 20 hours and he was a wonderful teacher full of anecdotes related to teaching and the demonstrating the importance of being a teacher to student who are foreign to the English language.

He demonstrated the effectiveness how to organise a classroom, how to lesson plan and make sure that I should do right as a teacher.

Though some of his anecdotes are long winded - these at times emphasised points he trying to make.

All in all I left the classroom realising teaching is more then just making a lesson plan and see the outcome. Everything down to presentation of a teacher, their mentality among other things showed teaching, specifically for foreign students is quite a career.

Thank you TEFL and Asif hopefully these lessons can take me somewhere in the world to explore and be a role-model for youths as a teacher.

The classroom course was very interactive and action packed throughout the entire weekend! I learnt a wide range of teaching techniques and a great deal about the responsibilities of taking on a classroom of young students or adults.
During the classroom sessions, there wasn't much guidance on interview prep or the various jobs that you can apply for once graduated.
The teacher organised a range of activities and certainly kept us on our toes! We also touched on grammar which was useful background knowledge on day one. Day two delved into grading of students and various English levels. It was very inspiring and has provided me with motivation to complete the rest of the online course. I'm now very excited to put my learnings into practice!

I took the 140 hour TEFL course to obtain "in-class" experience in addition to the 120-hour online portion of the class. It is always valuable to learn from an instructor from within an organization. I have many years of experience in teaching adults and was very pleased with our instructor, Peter Murray. Peter obviously knows grammar inside and out. In addition, he keeps the program interesting while staying on task and keeping things moving. It is easy to get derailed in these programs sometimes but that was not the case here. Peter brings a great deal of experience in TEFL teaching abroad, which is great. The addition of his life experiences as a musician also lend well to enhancing the overall program. I highly recommend Peter Murray as an instructor.

Peter's steering energy made this grueling (due to its shortness) course, pass in a blink.
Instructor has a capacity to generate and inspire student's thoughts and send them on a wild journey of English language.
There was no waste. Every hour has been carefully segmented, planned to a minute and everyone in the class was engaged. It has not been the usual flow of information but the spirited, educational, thought provoking transaction.
Peter's passion for language, form, communication is so powerful that would motivate even a sleepy teenager.
Peter armed us with valuable materials outside of the booklet we received. We got confident but also left the course with a clear sense of responsibility for whatever lies ahead of us.

Cayla was a very good and energetic teacher. It was two days at 10 hours a day, although she kept up her positive energy throughout the whole course. She also provided a great platform for ideas and activities to get our teaching abroad careers started. She is an experiance expat teacher and carries herself as such. She has a lot of good ways to teach a classroom and makes one prepared for any classroom. Definitely recommend.

Cayla was an amazing teacher for the 20 hour weekend course. She maintained energy and focus for a VERY long day with 8 students who all just met. She did a wonderful job navigating us through a variety of activities and icebreakers after which we discussed the merits of each game and of how it promotes learning/conversation among students. Overall
the class was fun, interactive and I have a lot of takeaways that will help me jump start the curriculum in my classroom. Thank you Cayla and TEFL UK!

When I first arrived to the class, I thought it would be a super serious and strict class. I thought I would feel nervous and scared around others. However, It was the complete opposite. It was so much fun and interactive. I learned a lot about how to approach my future students and teaching methods. Our teacher made everything fun and new information exciting. I even felt sad when the course was over. 100/100 recommend taking this class.
