This is a wonderful school for becoming TEFL certified and having support for the rest of your life. The staff and educators were always available for any questions and/or support throughout the entire program. The schedule was very flexible for working students and the assignments were difficult and challenging but so much as to be unobtainable. I have referred at least three people to The International TEFL Academy and will continue to do so whenever I come across like minded people looking to become TEFL certified.

ITA came in a time of my life where I was looking to take my career in a new direction. ITA was not only a new opportunity, it was a new beginning for me. I was engaged from day one in addition to receiving endless support from faculty and staff. I embraced the journey and I have no regrets because it ignited a passion in me I never knew existed in me and that is teaching! A huge 'thank you' to everyone at ITA, your efforts are never in vain! Keep up the great work! I'm forever grateful to you all!

It took me a while to decide on a course of study after making the choice to change career paths at this stage of life. I heard about ITA and did my research. In my opinion, it offered the most extensive TEFL certification course out there. I feel like I was supported during the course and the education and preparation I received made it possible to go out and find students to teach with confidence. I have now been working full-time for 2 years and I couldn't be happier. I am so glad that I made the decision to study with ITA.

Every element of course readings, writing assignments, debates and online interaction with other students as well as professors were incredibly useful. Within a month of gaining my certification, I went confidently into the TEFL teaching world of Paris, France. Thanks to this program's incredible resources, research techniques, readings, assignments, and in-field teacher training, I currently teach ESL at 4 Universities in Paris, France. This was a career-changing program, can't recommend it enough.

It was a great experience. The support I received during and still after my completion has been incredible. I had a wonderful time connecting with my classmates and professors. Everyone is very open minded and very knowledgeable. The networking access gained in this community has been amazing. I have contacts on Facebook, instagram, and YouTube. They are very prompt to answer questions or any issue you may have. Projects and assignments are easy to understand. I really enjoyed taking this class totally.

My experience with ITA was excellent. The admissions team was very supportive helping me find a program type that was right for me. I elected to get my certification in Costa Rica through their partner. The instructors were knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and supportive. They were very realistic about what expectations were for finding a job and helped us a ton with resources. The course really prepared me for what I would be doing in the classroom. The instructions had a lot of experience and shared their knowledge.

I didn’t use it as much as I should have but the support after the course from ITA and the alumni network was great. The alumni network is really big and I was able to help other graduates of the program find jobs in Costa Rica as well.

After teaching English for a while without formal training, I decided seek formal training in TEFL. It made all the difference. Despite having earned a degree in journalism, and feeling confident to navigate the maze of the English language, formal TEFL training helped enormously. Most useful for me was the class management component of the course. I now have the skills to plan, teach and control my classes much better than previously. My classes are now more predictable, relaxed and fun.
The course was challenging, but tutors were attentive and very helpful. I enjoyed the course, and now enjoy teaching much more than before I obtained the training.
The TEFL certificate is indeed a ticket to ride.

I was excited, but hesitant to sign up for the TEFL course from ITA, but after speaking to my advisor, it was a very easy and happy decision. My course instructor was amazing and thorough. I loved the feedback from the course assignments, as well as the forum postings from colleagues. It was a challenging, but very enjoyable course to take. It had me thinking and learning new things the entire course. I signed up for more specialty courses too! Very excited to take those this summer. I recommend.

Great support with knowledgeable faculty and staff. Kind and friendly communiry of persons from around the all. All which who possess the willingness to understand those who they serve. I think TEFL Acadmey ought to have a gain more prestige, and partner with EFL and ESL programs within higher education institutions. Particularly, on a graduate level. I believe there can many who benefit from its courses. However, my most favorite attribute is the community I’ve gained and retained -— that’s my greatest highlight as a TEFL alumna.

The TEFL course helped me get a teaching job in China and has opened doors for me in the education field. I started teaching oral English at a university with low pay, but after two years, and some experience I nearly doubled my pay at a English training center. Having four years of teaching English in China; it opened the doors to teach at an international school. My pay significantly higher than at the training center. I started as an ESL teacher and now I'm exploring a position as a librarian.
