This course is informative and left me well-prepared! I was able to make some great connections and found a well-paying job. The teacher was quick to respond to all questions and grading, and was extremely positive in her feedback. It was awesome reading the comments from my classmates, which helped give me contexts for assignments and were fun to read. Also, the course includes a library of helpful information. The grammar section is very useful to have handy and I have already used this feature.

I recommend this programme because of the quality of the content and the support from the staff. Every part of this process was made easier through the help of my Advisors. Mh Admissions Advisor helped me to sign up and answered my questions about job prospects and my Student Affairs Advisor gave me the tools I needed to job hunt. Also, this course is bery intensive. It taught me the principles of teaching from an experienced teacher and guided me through writing a lesson plan. Office hours are also available. This is an amazing programme!

I did this course online in 3 months in 2019. They sent me a professional certificate after I passed. It listed my transcript - how I did in each mini course - on the second page of this certificate. It's been very useful for my resume since I've been an ESL teacher for a long time.

Good course at a good academy!

This program helped me get TEFL certified promptly and got me to Korea and in my dream city too of Daegu! I Would recommend this program for anyone looking for a career break, to expand on skills for those in an education background or even for someone looking for something completely new! It’s admittedly very expensive (expect it to cost four digits) and the job placement they advertise is only helpful for those looking for private school or academy placements but of that’s something that you’re looking for then I would definitely recommend this program!

I felt very welcome and received a lot of support while studying. I would recommend this school. The tuition was reasonable and it also has a huge and very active community forums where former graduates from all over the world discuss available opportunities and experiences they are having. Everybody is very helpful and supportive. I personally had some challenges with finding someplace who would accept me as a teacher who was not fully credentialed yet. Navigating the international TEFL job market can also be daunting, because you are interviewing for a job in another country and there are all types of logistics that need to be factored in when you are deciding if you want to move.

I had a positive experience completing this TEFL course. The content was clear, practical, and well structured, with a strong focus on real classroom application. After graduating, I was able to use almost everything I learned in my daily teaching, from lesson planning to classroom management. The course gave me confidence, useful strategies, and skills that I continue to apply successfully in real teaching situations. I would recommend this course to anyone interested in teaching English today.

I got my TEFL certification through ITA at Extreme Learning Center in Arequipa, Peru. I thought it did a good job of preparing my to teach English, especially considering it was only a month long. Observing classes and teaching actual classes were particularly useful. You do some practice teaching in your own class before you teach an actual English class. Kris, the instructor, was excellent. As a nomad, it’s also helpful that they let me come back to teach English at the school (it’s main function) when I’m in Arequipa.

This program is well designed and very informative, which made it possible for me to complete the certification process while maintaining my full time job. The instructors were attentive, detail oriented, and provided great constructive advice on improving any areas that needed work. There is also continued support from the program to assist with future job placement, résumé building, interview prep and more. Overall a wonderful experience from speaking to my advisor to receiving my certification.

This program was excellent. It definitely surpassed my expectations. It is intense and a lot of work. That's a great thing. You will be completely prepared to teach English as a foreign language. You will immediately begin working on lesson plans and preparing to substitute teach English classes at the language school which is just around the corner. You will learn methodolgies of teaching, you will practice teaching various grammar concepts, you will write essays, and much more. You will lead a conversation class. The teachers are excllent and the course is comprehensive and moves quickly. Like anything else in life, you get out of it what you put into it, so if you're interested inliving abroad and teaching, I highly recommend that you work hard every day, study, practice, and committ all of your energy to learning during the course. Upon graduation, you will definitely be prepared to lead an English class. In addition, Guadalajara is an amzing city and the students you will encounter are all polite and engaged. I love teaching English and am grateful to have found ITTO through ITA. As a final note, they will completely assist you in job placement - guaranteed. So, no worries about finding work afterwards. Many schools and language schools require a TEFL teaching certificate, so I would highly recommend the investment in this course. This is a 140 hour course - you will actually substitutue teach 10 classes, as well as a conversation class and a private lesson. Very comprehensive!
