International TEFL/TESOL is definitely not one of those certifications they just hand out for a fee. I found the course to be very informative and very challenging. Definitely not an easy A! I feel confident that I am now qualified to teach in just about any environment and that I was properly trained. I would have liked a little more time to complete assignments and take advantage of some of the resources like the live lectures. I may try to go back and rewatch some videos before it's too late.

This TEFL course has helped me understand how to become a stronger teacher and has given me the tools/resources to continually improve upon that. I have enjoyed every week of the course and hope to utilize the strong TEFL community moving into the future. After near completion, I am glad to have chosen the International TEFL School over other options as it exceeded my expectations. More than anything this course has allowed me the mindfulness of how to approach the world of teaching and provided a strong base to build on.

I thoroughly enjoyed my experience as an International TEFL Academy student. The Support Staff and Instructors were exceptional from start to finish. I now feel genuinely empowered as I pursue my aspirations to teach ESL to adults. I have travelled to several countries already. I intend to use the information that I have learned to prepare me to be an even more effective teacher. I am excited about what lies in store for the future thanks to the ITEFL course. Take this course -- You won't regret it.

If you have chosen to obtain your TEFL certificate through ITA, you have just made the best decision of your life. The entire staff from your recruitment person to your instructor to the tech support to the employment guidance personnel are completely dedicated to your success. The course work is challenging but doable and each assignment helps to build you into a better ESL instructor. You will definitely feel more confident and eager to teach abroad by the end of the term. I simply cannot recommend this course enough!

I am super impressed with ITA's professionalism throughout the course. The course is well structured, organized and easy to understand. My instructor was available, helpful and a great communicator who gave honest and helpful feedback. The coursework was relevant and the assignments were building blocks to prepare one for real teaching experiences. In addition to the instruction, ITA provides a lot of extra teaching resources like, teacher office hours, live instruction, teaching videos, peer chat opportunities and much more. ITA's staff is very accessible for job guidance, country selection and general information on teaching abroad. I felt like I got a top-notch education at a great value. For me, this course was exactly what I needed. I had never created a lesson plan and I have zero experience teaching in a classroom. This course challenged me on a weekly basis and forced me out of my comfort zone which was exactly what I needed. What I can do, where I can go and how I want to live is now limitless with my TEFL Certificate. I plan to use my TEFL Certificate to teach Business English to adults for a private company in Italy. Until I am ready to move, I plan on teaching Business English online while here in the states once I complete both the supplemental Online Teaching course and the Teaching Business English course online with the International TEFL Academy.

Half of this course emphasizes the differences in teaching methods and approaches. Toward the second you will see that it only focuses on one method and pattern of lesson creation. Didn't really need those first 5 chapters. Cut the course in half. Cut the price half. I'm confident I'll get my money's worth out of it though.

It's the real deal. If you want to become a EFL teacher, this course is exactly what you're looking for, and your safest bet to accomplish what I wanted to accomplish, which is to go on an adventure around the world teaching English.

Overall, I found that the foundation of this course was very easy to follow and was very effective in my learning experience. The resources, the people, and the platform were just all too wonderful! I wish it was this nice at the University I attend too! When taking my TEFL course and completing the practicum, I thought it was something a little "off" for me to do, but when I finally found an opportunity to teach, I had a blast! I really wish I was able to talk more to my peers, but I think that given the circumstances, we all did really well together!

I enjoyed taking this course. This course made me learn English all over again. I was surprised by how much knowledge was there to teach us. This is just the first step for me to actually do what I love to do is to teach and travel. What better way to do so! I really enjoyed my instructor who was always helpful as well as my classmates if I needed help! Overall, this course will prepare you to teach overseas and especially once you get done with your practicum hours you will be set and ready!!!!

I just graduated college in May of this year and had absolutely no idea what I wanted to do for the short term. I noticed a lot of my friends had applied to fellowships to either do research or teach abroad, so I figured "well, why don't I look into teaching abroad"? Ultimately, I stumbled upon ITA through a simple, but fateful google search. Next thing I know, I'm wrapping up my course and organizing plans to move to move to Spain! Although fed up with taking classes ITA's course was different in that it allowed me to put to practice what I learned by giving me assignments that I'd actually do as a teacher. I was actually able to step into the role of a teacher through them, and now I feel prepared to go make a life for myself as a budding professional. T'was a smart move indeed, one I have no absolutely no regrets in making.
