I thoroughly enjoyed the whole training - it was an intense month, yet it taught me an incredible amount of skills that I am now using with my own students. The tutors provided us with many valuable resources, practical tips and though there were many things to learn, they made learning fun and enjoyable! There was also a meeting focused on getting a job, obtaining the Czech business license or the working visa in case you are from overseas. I appreciate the approach and would happily enroll again! I received my first job offers shortly after graduating and have been enjoying my teaching adventure ever since.

I’ll start off by saying that no amount of hours in any teaching course will fully prepare you for the first time you step in front of a class. It takes a long time to find your comfort zone when teaching english.
That being said, the TEFL Worldwide program in Prague is really a great program if you’re interested in teaching abroad. What I mentioned above was told to us by many of our instructors; each of them were very in tune with the realities of teaching, each seasoned veterans that really prepared us for what to expect when we began teaching. Whether you have prior teaching skills or you’re new to the game, you’ll walk away from this course feeling much more confident and better equipped to start teaching.
Each of the modules were very in-depth, and I won’t lie: It’s a lot of work. Obviously the first thing you’ll want to do when you get to Prague is explore the city. And explore it you must. Whether you’re planning to stay or just stopping through for the month, it truly is a magical place that sucks you in immediately. But, you’ll find a lot of your free time chewed up by work for the course. It’s not hard by any means, but more so time-consuming.
The best part of the course was the practical experience you gain throughout it. You teach actual Czech students 6 times over the course of the 4 weeks. It’s very nerve-wracking, but the instructors each give great feedback that allows you yourself to slowly start to notice improvements in each successive lesson. Not only that, these practice lessons give you a good glimpse into what it’s like to teach specifically Czech people.
What really makes the course as a whole are those you go through it with. Your class makeup will really define the overall vibe of the day-day activities. The instructors provide a great work and learning environment that favors genuine friendships with your fellow Teflers. I was lucky, our class became really close over the course of the month and we’re all still good friends. It’s sort of a “shared struggle” bond that you develop together.
Enroll in TEFL Worldwide if you want to travel abroad and teach. And if you’re thinking about doing the course for the month in Prague and then moving somewhere else with your degree (which is totally possible, the degree is internationally recognized), I wish you good luck in trying to leave Prague. Once you’re here you will fall in love with this place.

There are so many reasons why anyone should apply for this program. First, it is a direct path to getting to live practically anywhere you want in the world. Secondly, you get to spend the month in Prague, an absolutely amazing city. But more seriously, this program actually prepares you to teach English- it is intense, and at times trying, but it is so so worth it. The support you get from the trainers is truly a godsend, and they actually care about your success. Not to mention the connections you make with your fellow TEFLers, which will quickly make this strange new city feel like home. If you’re thinking about it… Just go for it!

My experience with TEFL Worldwide Prague was nothing short of exceptional. The course itself is intensive but very manageable. The instructors all brought something different to the table in terms of the content of their lessons and the experience they could share with us as students. The teaching practice sessions with real Czech students was perhaps the most valuable part of the course. We were able to practice the teaching strategies we learned in class in real time, and get feedback along the way for ways to improve. Living and learning in Prague has been a fantastic experience, and I strongly recommend TEFL Worldwide to anyone wanting to move abroad and have a means of supporting themselves with a relatively low barrier to entry.

The TEFL course from TEFL Worldwide Prague was excellent. The course content was highly informative and practical. It was of a universal teaching nature and will be helpful wherever I decide to teach. It is in-depth, well structured, and well thought out. Not only do they provide effective teaching methods and approaches, but they also include lots of ideas and demonstrations of dynamic and fun activities to use with your students.

If you are reading this, you're considering taking a TEFL course. I would recommend signing up for TEFL Worldwide in Prague. Why? This course is intensive and challenging, so be prepared for four weeks of hard work! However, working hard will help you to shape into a well-trained teacher and gain confidence in teaching. The whole school and especially the trainers are very supportive and helpful. They are there for you anytime you need help, and you never feel left alone. Moreover, Prague is a charming city, which is steeped in history!

After receiving my Bachelor's in the United States, I didn't know what I wanted to do, so I decided to travel. I found this program and the price seemed reasonable enough so I decided to go for it. I thought that it would be a relaxing start to a gap year teaching in the beautiful city of Prague. I was wrong. This course is rigorous. It is the equivalent to a 2 semester, 300 level course smashed into the span of 4 weeks. Early in the morning until late in the evening, 5 days a week.

But it's worth it.

The curriculum is well-rounded and informative. The teachers are supportive and patient. There is plenty of support regarding the in-class practices and class assignment. They won't hold your hand, but when they feel that you are putting the work in, they will do everything they can to make sure you succeed.

All in all, I highly recommend this course to individuals planning on taking a TEFL in Prague. At the end of the course, I felt like I had the skills and confidence to teach, despite having zero experience in pedagogy before.

However, be warned. While in the course, make sure you focus on the course. There are plenty other courses in the city to take that will just give you a certificate for nothing, but will also not prepare you for the world of teaching.

This four weeks long TEFL course is a great idea, if you are thinking about teaching English. You need to give your 100%, because it is a demanding course, but the time will fly by. You will learn a lot of new things even if you taught before. All trainers were amazing and very supportive, giving us feedback, helping out with materials and answering questions even in their free time. Also, it is not just all theory and lesson planning, you will also teach actual lessons with students.
I highly recommend this course in Prague.

I really enjoyed the course. I found it to be very helpful and hands-on. The instructors are really professional but also approachable and it felt like they genuinely want me to succeed. There was plenty of teaching practice as well as class lectures. I was able to learn different teaching and learning styles, as well as how to teach different types of lessons with specific focuses. They also provide you with practical advise on job searching and applying. It’s definitely an intensive program, but well worth it.

I had a really good time during this course. It was very informative, practical and all the teachers were so helpful. The teachers are still in contact with me and have helped out a lot with job opportunities. I highly recommend this course to anyone who wants to change careers or try something new.
