Having just received my certificates I'm happy to provide a glowing review of this 168 hour TEFL course. To get them out the way, of course there are a couple of omissions or weaknesses like there's no chatroom or forum to meet with other students, which I'm sure would be a simple addition, and there's no option to add on practical teaching experience even outside the program. These things and a couple of other quirks aside, it's a wonderful course.
For some reason they've split it into 3 separate parts, which I couldn't figure out a reason for, and not that it matters, but the 120 hours was by far my favorite and the one that left me super impressed. There's a balance of text and video consistent throughout the lessons, while some have a batch of extra videos that are pretty interesting and others have more review activities. I enjoyed the reviews. It took me less time than what they stated but I suppose if I followed their direction exactly then it may have, though I doubt anyone ever has, does or will! The bottom line is that what they teach is understandable and seemed useful. The units on kids (young learners) were good but I only took that part because it wasn't much more expensive and I figured it'd add some muscle to my job applications. I think most people could get by on the 120 hours unless you actualy need to know about teaching kids specifically. Just my two cents.
