Incredible experience

I have collaborated twice with the project in India, and these are the best experiences in my life.
There you can feel and test that you are helping every moment. The different programmes are very emotive, you teach and learn a lot with children, enjoy with elephants. With the team you really live an Indian experience, they are always helping you and showing the real Bharat.
If you arrive there open-minded you can take advantage of all things you will feel and experiment, your helping will be better and you will feel in a family.
I strong recommend this experience and I am sure I will go there again, so see you soon!!!

What is your advice to future travelers on this program?
Please, feel your experience as unique, because it really is, and different people live it in different way. And of course, be open-minded always, Indian culture is different to any other.

  • Really help people to improve their lifes
  • Experience a different culture
  • Learn to do things in different way

Volunteering changed my life

In august 2022 i had my first, but not last, volunteering experience in Uganda. I volunteered in Tooro Babies Orphanage, a small local orphanage near town where i had the chance to help 6 amazing, strong and brave woman who spend the whole day taking care of around 60 kids in very vulnerable situations.
Moreover, the local team and the coordinators made my experience not only much easier not just only by making us feel safe and accompanied at all times, but giving us advice about the best ways to help there.
This experience not only shaped my perspective on global issues but also instilled a sense of responsibility to continue making a positive impact. It taught me invaluable lessons, offered profound insights, and ignited a passion for humanitarian work that will guide my actions for years to come.
Now a days I have a whole family in Uganda, and that is, for me, the most amazing thing in the world.

What is your advice to future travelers on this program?
I would recommend to the new travelers to leave the fear behind and give themselves the chance to help in many different ways to those who need it, while they get to know other cultures and social structures.
Pros
  • Reality check and change of priorities
  • Help people and communities in vulnerable positions
  • New cultures and people

Incredible

It was the best experience of my life; the team welcomed me incredibly. I adapted to the place very quickly. The project I was involved in was an orphanage/daycare, and I have no regrets choosing that project; the children are lovely. I was there for 3 weeks. During the mornings, we worked on the projects, and in the afternoons, we had free time. We could either go to the beach or, if we wanted to immerse ourselves in the country's culture, explore and learn about how the local people live
I would definitely repeat it again.

Thank you so much Cooperating!!

Thanks to all the team for the experience, it was wonderful. The best experience of my life. The programs are wonderful, the local team helps you in everything from the first minute. I would repeat a thousand and one times.
The house is great, the volunteer programs they have are real projects, where the help provided by the volunteer is great.

The coordinators Assy and Moha helped me in everything, I love them very much. From now on they are like my family, they welcomed me as their daughter. Thank you very much!

Experience in Senegal

I went there alone, and the support was awesome, I had an amazing experience, that I recommend to everyone. The staff there are so nice and always try to help you. I met new people and see an other point of view of life. I went two weeks and I think that is a good time to stay there. My volunteer was teaching kids and stay with them. I lived in a nice house with other volunteers, I ate diferent type of food, typical of Senegal. At weekend, I did a program of visit the capital, go to an island and I did a safari in Bandia.

What was the most surprising thing you saw or did?
A diferent type of life
Pros
  • Be with kids
  • Meet new people

The best experience

Uganda will stay in my heart forever after this experience. The month I spent there was full of heartfelt moments, kind people and in general good vibes. The coordinators were very helpful and fun, and the children in the daycare were amazing. Working with the local teachers and caregivers helped me learn so much, and I would repeat the experience for sure. Thank you Cooperating Volunteers!

The local team is excellent. Sara, Carlota, Jaime, Cathy, Florence and everyone have been attentive since minute 1 of my arrival at Entebbe airport. I only have words of gratitude.

Thank you so much local team to did my best experience ever.

Worth it every single second there

I know it's going to sound very typical but the truth is volunteering in Jaipur, India, opened my mind on so many ways.
One never knows what's going to be the next Hindu festival, how you're going to manage the next teaching session or how you're going to bargain with the next tuk-tuk driver, but despite all the doubts you end up knowing it and getting what you set out to do.
I'm really thankful to the local team (already my Indian family) for helping me on every way possible, beyond their job.
I'm truly inspired by the children and people I've been working with in the social projects, their efforts really amaze me.
Thanks India, see you again.

What was your funniest moment?
When it was my cousin's birthday and we throw a surprise party to her where we all end up dipped in cake!
Pros
  • Lovely Local Team
  • True local projects to support
  • Social union and cultural exchange
Cons
  • Sometimes India might be crazy, so definitely patience is needed.

A great animal experience

I was volunteering in an Amazon wildlife program. Our caretakers were everyday concerned about our happiness, so it was not difficult to have fun.

We worked 6 hours a day Monday to Friday with the animals, rescuing them from the forest and carrying them till the centre.

I went by myself but I met them very nice people who I could enjoy my experience with and share some good moments at the afternoons.

It has been without doubt one of the best experiances of my life. Thanks to Cooperating Volunteers.
