Popular Programs

Volunteers playing games with the children

Volunteer in a center that was born as an orphanage, but being located in a slum with no other educational facilities, children from the surrounding area started coming when they saw others learning and engaging in activities, and they eventually were incorporated into the classes and they come to the school to learn, eat, and spend the day. Volunteers mainly help with teaching English, Maths etc. They also organize recreational activities such as singing, dancing, drawing, and more!

Medical center for homeless

This volunteer program seeks to provide healthcare to homeless people in Jaipur’s various slums. Given their conditions, many people are reluctant to look after them, so a health centre conceived for homeless people was created, and the volunteer will work caring for these people, conducting regular medical checks and helping them recover from their addictions. It also has its own mobile unit, running a healthcare route in different slums of Jaipur, providing check-ups and medicine.

Volunteer in school

The teaching volunteer program takes place in schools in the rural areas, where the standard of education is severely lacking. Volunteers will follow the curriculum that is implemented in the schools for the various subjects. The volunteer will help deliver English, maths, art and PE classes in primary schools, while helping local teachers to develop their teaching methods. They will help the students to improve their communication skills such as drawing, painting, dancing and music.

Sports program

This is a very special program for football lovers and volunteers who wish to help run sports activities. Volunteers will attend the training sessions of children, some of whom have special needs (whether physical or mental). The volunteer program is developed in a football academy in Jaipur, which has been working with children in the community for a number of years and that has won titles and trophies, helping motivate the young people and instil values such as effort and team spirit.

Women's development program

While India continues to grow economically and technologically on a daily basis, the true emancipation of Indian women remains a long way off. Sadly, they continue to suffer from discrimination and injustice in all stages of their life. Volunteers will work in a centre where around 15 women attend on a daily basis, receiving a basic education and participating in a series of workshops, training them in different skills. This will help them find a good job or even start a business.

Incredible experience

I have collaborated twice with the project in India, and these are the best experiences in my life.
There you can feel and test that you are helping every moment. The different programmes are very emotive, you teach and learn a lot with children, enjoy with elephants. With the team you really live an Indian experience, they are always helping you and showing the real Bharat.
If you arrive there open-minded you can take advantage of all things you will feel and experiment, your helping will be better and you will feel in a family.
I strong recommend this experience and I am sure I will go there again, so see you soon!!!

Worth it every single second there

I know it's going to sound very typical but the truth is volunteering in Jaipur, India, opened my mind on so many ways.
One never knows what's going to be the next Hindu festival, how you're going to manage the next teaching session or how you're going to bargain with the next tuk-tuk driver, but despite all the doubts you end up knowing it and getting what you set out to do.
I'm really thankful to the local team (already my Indian family) for helping me on every way possible, beyond their job.
I'm truly inspired by the children and people I've been working with in the social projects, their efforts really amaze me.
Thanks India, see you again.

What was your funniest moment?
When it was my cousin's birthday and we throw a surprise party to her where we all end up dipped in cake!
Pros
  • Lovely Local Team
  • True local projects to support
  • Social union and cultural exchange
Cons
  • Sometimes India might be crazy, so definitely patience is needed.
