Very good.

Euroace offers several types of Spanish courses in order to reach different student profiles.
There are programs with or without an exchange, with or without an internship, with 10 or 20 hours a week, exam preparation, etc.
The structure is adequate and the teaching material is provided.
The staff is organized and attentive, promptly meeting the needs of the students.
Teachers are very well prepared and conduct classes in a light and relaxed manner. They teach the grammar associated with conversation and learning occurs naturally.

What would you improve about this program?
Provision of online content for students to consult.

Euroace Valencia Review

I was in Valencia to complete an internship for my senior year of college. Through Euroace, they found me a local internship site and a host family to stay with. My host family was nice, made meals for me, let me use laundry, and offered advice about the city. The staff members were all very kind and helpful with any of the questions I had ranging from work to health related. I felt overall my experience was very positive. Unfortunately it was cut short by the COVID-19 pandemic but even then, Euroace was very helpful in making sure I was able to return home safely.

What would you improve about this program?
The class curriculum was a bit all over the place. I understand why they do it this way because all of the internships come first and not all of the students consistently come every day because of their different sites. The benefits of this is the days are very open for the teachers to teach what topics that the students want to learn. However, I've attended other language schools that go over set topics on a weekly basis with a small quiz at the end of each week. By not only learning the concept but getting time to practice and use it before testing your understanding really helped you grasp each new grammar concept. Euroace's classes were certainly helpful but quite as helpful as I had hoped

Language learning experience adapted to my needs

I chose to attend classes at Euroace right from the beginning of my 9 months stay in Valencia cause I've heard good things about the school. Additionally, they were the most accommodating when it came to my language level and needs to adapt the classes to my work schedule. I originally planned on attending the course only for the first few months of my time in Spain but quickly decided to continue throughout my entire stay here, because I did not only enjoy the classes but also loved the support from all the staff members. Participating in the course makes me feel more comfortable with speaking Spanish and living the Spanish lifestyle and I continue meeting great new people who experience the same thing.

If you did this all over again, what's one thing you would change?
I would definitely try to engage in more conversations with the Valencian people to put what I've learned in class into practice.

Spanish Gap Year in Valencia!

I'm from Los Angeles, USA and I came to Valencia to follow my dream of studying Spanish in Spain. I chose to do an intensive language course for 12 weeks with Euroace and at the same time, live with a host family to make the most of my Spanish learning experience here!

My plan is that I would like to stay and live longer in Spain, after the end of my studies, and continue to explore the country and opportunities to teach English.

I chose Valencia for its Mediterranean climate, and the fact that it's not a huge and busy city, but still it is not too small and there is a lot going on. I love the lifestyle, with people going out until late at night, with old people holding hands and small children playing outside all day long. People are very kind and well-mannered. The only thing that I find difficult is that people smoke a lot and I am quite sensitive to cigarette smoke.

I really like living with a host family. My host mama is great, I get to know a lot about Valencia and Spain, by talking to her. She also cooks very well, so I get to know the Spanish customs and cuisine through her delicious meals. We get along well and I practise my Spanish with her, as this is our only language of communication.

My Euroace course has helped me make big progress! I started from a basic level and I can already talk in present, past and future tense after 10 weeks! I can speak the language and have made friends with some of my fellow students who do not speak English, thus it is great that we can communicate in Spanish. The teachers are great, my teacher Estefa is amazing, she manages to have a personal approach to every student, no matter what their level of Spanish, and very successfully involves all students in the group to actively participate in the class activities. We also have lots of fun and laugh a lot in the classes, it makes the learning much more enjoyable!!

What is your advice to future travelers on this program?
Yes, I would advise them to be open-minded, integrate the most with the locals and not to compare too much with their native country. Every country is unique, do not ask too often why things are the way they are, just accept it.

Internship in Human resources and Spanish Classes

I am staying in Valencia for 7 months taking an Internship with an organization called Fundación Equipo Humano and at the same time, participating in group and private Spanish classes.

I took this program because I am doing an internship as part of my placement year at university, where I am currently in my third year of a Business Management and Psychology degree. I decided to do my placement in Spain as I have always wanted to learn Spanish and so I thought why not combine this with an internship placement, and do them together.

The internship I am doing is very interesting, with many innovation and creativity projects to collaborate on, as well as HR projects too. All the tasks are related to people and this is something I really enjoy, especially the fact that we work with people from many different countries.

My Spanish course consists of 6 hours of group classes and a 1 hour private class each week. It's nice to have the private classes as I started as a beginner so I feel it's necessary, and the group classes are also fun to get to know other people.

What is your advice to future travelers on this program?
I would say definitely get some basic phrases before you come, so you can communicate a little bit! Also it is great living in a shared apartment because you can meet really cool people. My roommates have been mainly international and this has been an amazing experience. Lastly, I'd say throw yourself into it, don't be afraid to participate because everyone is really friendly here.

Internship and Spanish Experience

For my study abroad program in Valencia, I firstly chose to do an Internship in a bilingual school, where the kids learn in both Spanish and English. My internship role included helping out with English in the classroom, talking to the students in English and helping them to speak in their second language, supervising them during activities and break times. I worked with 6-7 year olds and it was a great chance to get a feel for the education field. However, I decided to change my internship after a few weeks because I wanted to try a business related internship and I also preferred something closer to where I was living, without such a long commute.

Euroace organized a second internship with me within 2 days and so I was able to join a professional football club and look into the sports business industry, and i didn't have to waste any time before getting into a new experience. I started my internship by sitting down with the Villarreal CF supervisor and discussing my interests. I decided to focus more on a graphic design and marketing role, and some of my tasks included designing brochures, video editing for the marketing department, and designing promotional banners and materials.

My course also involved taking Spanish classes every day. This really helped me to improve my speaking and listening skills, and it gave me a good amount of time every day to communicate with people on the same level as me and feel like I could make mistakes and ask if I didn't understand something.

Something that made the program a lot easier was the structure. The internship and the classes worked perfectly together, so the timetable was easy to get used to!

I loved Valencia and especially the Turia park. You can cycle, run, or just look around and find different festivals and events going on all the time. It was a great city, not too big, and with nice weather to enjoy being outside!

What is your advice to future travelers on this program?
My advice would be to try and put yourself out of your comfort zone. In the first few weeks I think it's really important to try to meet new people, and once you've met some, you'll meet more and more. Just remember that everyone is in the same boat as you, and so don't be afraid to meet people. Then you have more options to go out and more things to do with people. Also I'd say practice Spanish outside the classroom and don't be nervous to do it, because I wish I had done this more. And of course, live in the moment!

An unbelievable experience!

When I came across Euroace, I couldn't believe that I would be presented with the opportunity to gain invaluable professional experience, along with daily Spanish lessons, and it didn't fail to live up to expectations! Having 2 hours of classes every morning keeps the language ticking, which can then be put to practise at my Marketing Internship at Villarreal CF. The international nature of the different students and internships means that you are always meeting different, interesting people throughout the experience! I also chose to live with a host family for the first four weeks of my stay, and this was a great experience! You get a more cultural/Spanish experience whilst only speaking Spanish and therefore improving day to day linguistic skills.

What is your advice to future travelers on this program?
Get involved with all of the Euroace activities on offer!

Internship at Villarreal CF

I have completed an internship with Villarreal CF which has involved coaching a youth team in the academy and completing tasks for the International Department. This placement has been very valuable to learn more about coaching abroad in Spain and to gain experience in preparation for the future. I have had the privilege of working alongside some high standard coaches within the academy and therefore picking pick up many tips on how I can develop personally. It has also been an excellent experience having the opportunity to learn and work within such a professional setup within an elite club. In terms of my role within the International Department, I have had the opportunity to complete tasks which I haven’t had any previous experience in, and therefore this allowed me to learn new skills which I will be able to use later in life.

What is your advice to future travelers on this program?
To take every opportunity thrown at you. The harder you work and more you put into it the more you get out of the program and benefit.

10 weeks internship in Valencia

First of all, I'm a French Canadian Master Student who needed to do an internship to graduate. Being an International Business Major, I thought to myself "Why not do one abroad, it would be a great experience".
Since I already did an exchange in Asia, I wanted to see how it is to live in Europe. I chose Valencia because the program was really affordable with good reviews and had a program related to international business. It was a country which I've already visited although a new city. I could also learn Spanish by the same time which is really useful seeing the number of Spanish speaking countries.
The program staff was really supportive before and throughout the internship. The same can be said for the company employees hosting me. It was a travel agency located in the marina in a open space startup incubator/accelerator. It specialized in tours in South America with customers from all over the world.
I lived with a host family to learn more about the culture. Some other students/interns came and left during my time there so it was a great way to meet people from other countries.
All in all, it was a great experience which I would recommend to others greatly.

If you did this all over again, what's one thing you would change?
I would try to take Spanish classes to really learn the language. There is no better way than to live it. I also would have tried to go to more activities to meet more people. My biggest problem was a lack of time, most internships are 4-5 hours but I needed to do 8h per day for my university.

Un nuevo idioma

Translated by Go Overseas:

The month I spent in Valencia was fantastic. It allowed me to learn the magnificent language that is Spanish, to meet many people from all over the world and to utter from the city of Valencia to the fullest. In a month you can do many things in a city, visit everything, go to the beach and party, without being stressed to do the maximum in a short time. But the one I liked the most was the kitchen, which is very good. Who goes there has to try the most traditional food: Paella, Fideuá, Orxhata and Fartones.
Also, I think that who is going to do this experience has to be alone, because it is better to learn a new language and meet new people. On the other hand, a person who goes in a city to learn a language alone is freer to do what he wants.

Original Review:
