Hi there My name is Kyle and I have been working and living in Colombia for the last five years. I have been teaching ESL for five years now and I recently decided to get certified. This 120 hour TESOL course gives a lot of great information and is insightful for teachers and those who are interested in teaching ESL courses. This course was easy to access from any computer and I was able to complete the course in my own time. As a full time teacher I can tell anyone who is interested that this outlines all the basic information that teachers will receive once becoming an ESL teacher. I actually wish that I had taken this certification before i ever started teaching ESL. I taught art in the states for two years before moving to Colombia, however the teaching experience I had really helped this course is great for anyone looking to enrich their lives by teaching English in a foreign country.

I've just finished TESOL Certificate Programm which is made by UNI-Prep Institute.
That programm was very helpfull for my career. Now I'm going to work as a teacher in China. I obtained knowladge how to make lesson plan properly, how to establish an effective classroom management, how to engage my future students and much more usefull information. To sum up I would like to recommend this course for people who are going to work as an ESL teachers!

I found the Uni Prep language course to be helpful and useful in preparing for work as an English teacher. Overall, the material was applicable and relevant, and very well targeted. I feel more prepared to work as an English teacher overseas. While this program does not provide opportunities to teach, I am supplementing it by giving free online lessons over Skype, which has helped me to feel ready to teach in a classroom or tutoring environment.

As teachers we have one job, to prepare students for a ever changing world. Uni prep gives a basic foundation to do just that. English is the language that people all over the world speak, it has become the compass for success in many arenas to come. After this course I am prepared to teach people all over the world how to communicate more effectively in those arenas. My favorite part of the course was the idea of "cross cultural". It is important to bring your culture to a classroom but just as important to understand the culture of the classroom. Thumbs up.

The information presented, quizzes, and the ease of navigation for the website is well put together. I enjoyed the wellspring of information provided so concisely. The quizzes reinforced the material nicely. This is my first experience with an online certification course; so I appreciated the straight forward design of the site.

A couple interesting things that I noticed were some misspellings and missing words in the texts. Also, the quizzes are great for recalling important material; but they leave the reinforcement of said material almost entirely up to the individual. Just a bit of nitpicking mostly, but honesty is definitely important and i was slightly bothered. If you prepare a personal interview prep sheet with the material from the course I imagine that is all the reinforcement needed.

All of the information provided in the TESOL course was extremely useful. I was noticing improvements in my teaching after the first section. Each section offered information and ideas that will be effective and easy to implement in my classes. I feel much more prepared to teach and class at any level after completing this program. Highly recommend this course for anyone interested in ESL. The course can be completely at any rate the user chooses which made it very comfortable for someone working full-time. I was completely satisfied with this program.

This course took me a while to finish because of my own issues. Yet it was straightforward, to the point and the reading combined with the videos are super helpful and make the quizzes a breeze! I wish there were a great variety in course work for this, but overall it's pretty easy. I think the only thing missing is more interactive activities besides the quizzes. I'd recommend this course to anyone considering teaching English abroad.

Did the course in between two weeks and learned a lot! The 10 units are all well structured and any video helps you to understand the main facts about the topics. If you are really in a rush you can even do it in within one week!

I started this a couple months ago and did it while I was finishing my degrees. I liked that it was online and self-paced so I didn't have deadlines to meet. I will say you need to be motivated to do this on your own and actively work on it. The lessons are all structured the same with a video and a reading. The quizzes are usually around ten questions long and I felt prepared to take them after doing the readings. I did have a slight problem and had to email the company. They got back to me quickly and fixed the issue. Overall a good experience and I feel ready to go teach.

It is a new start for me. I love to share my experiences with others. But I love to be always on move.
So I love to have extra tools to use them in my work. This was what I was looking for in an online course. Good price, self paced, and focused on all types of learners. It was also nice that the video speaker help me in a practical way to develop my teaching abilities. Lessons help me to find techniques and suggestions more insightful because I understood why I should follow their recommendations.
Because I have to work to gain some money, was nice for me to have these lessons to make me better.
