I decided to take a semester off from school to teach abroad in China and was looking for an online course that would prepare me, since my teaching experience is very limited. The Uni-Prep TEFL course turned out to be a good fit for me, being affordable and something I could complete rather quickly. The content was well developed with readings and multimedia. I'm happy I purchased this course and very excited to be teaching abroad soon!

UNI-Prep Institute's online TESOL certificate course was informative, challenging, and fun.

The course covers ten areas related to teaching ESL. Each module will have a short video and reading material. Once you complete your review for a module you need to take a quiz. The quiz will be short, 8-10 questions, that review all the information in the module. Your course grade will be based on your quiz results.

I enjoyed the flexibility of completing this course on-line.

When I wanted to enrich my teaching and take certain courses, my sister suggested me to search for online courses. I had not really believed I could find legit studying online until I found UNI-Prep Institute. I was happy when I found it, but when I started my course I liked it even more! Everything was perfectly structured and informative, which made my studying really exciting. All the tools from videos and pdf texts are of great value! Cannot wait to apply it to my teaching!

The course was a lot cheaper than other's I found on the internet. The two hundred and fifty dollars it costed while in Canadian amounted to roughly 330$ if I recall correctly, it was much better than the $1,000+ courses I saw, and wouldn't be able to afford. The course was well organized into Video, Reading, and Quiz. The Videos helped summarize what I read, very good videos. They also put in Section ten which is purely there to help you out when you're working, with ideas for how to teach.
I recommend this course.

UNI-Prep TESOL certification course provided me with a lot of useful information and tips to improve my skills in teaching English. Reasonable price, self paced and easy to access. Really satisfied with the course. I graduated from Linguistic University in Russia, so I was eager to know different strategies and methods of teaching English. This course gave me full answers to almost all my questions regarding the issue.

I've been an elementary teacher overseas and stateside for many years and have been searching for an online TESOL course. After reading reviews and content information, I'm very glad I chose UNI-Prep. This program is perfect for anyone seeking an affordable TESOL certificate. The flexible pacing, easy access, well organized and structured units were great especially since I work full time. I didn't utilize the tutoring support, or job search options that were provided. I found the course to be pretty easy as I have a B.Ed degree, however it was a great refresher. The ESL specific strategies and examples were very helpful and i've already started thinking of some great lesson ideas!

The videos were helpful however the audio is not as clear sounding as it could be.

The print materials could be expanded upon and provide some templates, more examples, or idea lists. It's a great jumping off point, but not as comprehensive as it could be for a 120 hour course.

I really enjoyed the experience of completing the TESOL diploma. I learned a lot of practical and useful information that I am going to use in the future while teaching. I really enjoyed the videos, and I also liked the assignments. The program was really organized and through the written assignments you had the chance to present your own work based on the ideas and the theory of each unit. The assignments were challengig since you had to put your own ideas but simultaneously they were easy to complete!
