As Australia’s oldest, and one of its most prestigious, universities, University of Sydney is ranked regularly among the fifty top universities in the world in the QS rankings. In addition, USyd holds membership in the elite Group of Eight, a coalition of leading Australian universities. Its commitment to diversity and inclusion, academic excellence, creativity, and leadership define its vision for the 50,000 undergraduates who take part in a vast array of majors and courses. USyd has particular strengths in health and life sciences (including pre-med), humanities, and engineering.
The university’s location on the fringe of the Central Business District features a mix of historic and modern architecture, which will serve as the backdrop for both your studies, and the adventures you will undertake as a member of any one of the 200 available student clubs and societies which are on offer to you.
