About Program
The Costa Rica Sea Turtle program offers you an amazing opportunity to engage with Costa Rica’s immense biodiversity. From our field station, you’ll monitor the beach, guided by trained research assistants. You’ll also step into the lowland rainforests, exploring and learning about the unique flora and fauna of the jungle.
The Costa Rica Felines and Primates program focuses on the monkeys, jungle cats, and sea turtles of the area. You’ll set out to explore the rainforest, setting camera traps to monitor the behaviors of jaguars and other felines. Collect observational data on the three species of primates, studying their abundance, eating habits, and social structure. On the beach, you’ll monitor nests and collect data on endangered leatherback sea turtle hatchlings.
