ITME Summer Study Abroad Program in Dominica

The Institute for Tropical Marine Ecology offers an amazing 4-week summer study and research abroad program every June. The program involves a hands on approach with more than half of the entire time spent outside and in the water. The subject area that dominates the coursework is in marine biology, though conservation issues were heavily discussed as well. Students discussed these issues with managers and professionals who use the resources regularly including fisherman, policy makers, and agro-processors.
