The program size: successful since its start ten years ago, it has grown since then, but will not be let to grow into anonymity.
The fit: no previous knowledge of German required, no overlap with home semester, equivalent of appr. 15-17 US credits, attendance of classes with German students.
The extras: program fee covers cultural program with three weekend excursions to important historical and cultural sites (e.g. Berlin, Weimar, Eisenach, Cologne, Heidelberg, Munich, Hamburg etc.)
