Robotics, Communication Networks and Innovation Summer School

Video and Photos

About

The Summer School is dedicated to robotics, information theory and communication systems. The robotics part provides an overview of the main areas of robotics: robotic systems, kinematics and dynamics; and features the use of a robot education cell. The information theory and communication systems part covers the history of information theory and features practical examples of solving problems in modern communication technology, enabling students to better understand challenges in the systematic design of communication systems. As additional topic, mechatronics is introduced. It features a case study, in which students develop a mechatronic system.

The Institute of Mechanism Theory, Machine Dynamics and Robotics (IGMR) and the research group ISEK conduct the academic content. Research areas include mechanism theory and kinematics, machine dynamics and vibration technology, robotics and mechatronics, and information theory and communication systems.
