About Program

Join our expert green building instructors and sustainability enthusiasts from all over the world for an immersive hands-on green building experience located in the beautiful Guatemalan highlands. For one month, participants will learn how to combine rubbish with conventional materials to raise an entire off-grid home or classroom that benefits local low-income community members. Examples of what we have built are available at lwhomegreen.org. Participants will use this experience as a reference point for permaculture-related endeavors throughout their lives. They will emerge as powerful change agents ready to protect the environment and make a significant impact.

Join us for the whole month or a portion of the time. We can adjust the price!

Scholarships are available.
