About Program

The CRHP Documentary Filmmaking course is a unique opportunity for students with an interest in filmmaking and travel to come to rural India and produce a short documentary film with CRHP (Comprehensive Rural Health Project) a world renowned community healthcare NGO. Film In Action provides a curriculum based around producing meaningful narrative based documentary films, taking students through the three stages production with professional tuition throughout.

Students will live residentially on CRHP's main campus in Jamkhed, this offers a safe, secure environment to work from and provides them with an inside perspective on the work which CRHP does in the region, with daily interaction with local staff and full cultural immersion. CRHP has been helping the poorest, most disenfranchised members of rural Indian society for over 40 years and you as filmmakers can give a voice to the inspirational stories of the people they work with. An incredible place to film and make a difference.
