About Program

Accademia dell’Arte’s Summer Intensives offer a transformative four-week experience for performers looking to sharpen their craft and deepen their artistic identity. Set in the historic Villa Godiola in Tuscany, the program fosters a vibrant, collaborative environment where living and creating go hand in hand.

Participants choose a focus in either Physical Theatre or Dance and train with expert faculty using innovative methods grounded in contemporary performance. The curriculum emphasizes both individual creation and ensemble work, while encouraging thoughtful engagement with the social and educational impact of the arts.

An optional fifth week allows students to further develop their work through close collaboration with faculty and guest artists. Led by Sam McGehee, this final phase culminates in a public presentation—an opportunity to share original work and engage with an enthusiastic local audience.
