Sevilla

I loved walking around the city and doing a scavenger hunt. The teachers are very sympathetic and love to help you learn. The parents are very nice and helpful. They can help you get around the city and have a very interesting point of view of America. I also enjoyed meeting students from different schools and getting to know them and their culture. The students were very welcoming and funny. Also during our free time we got to explore the city and find parks to play at. I really enjoyed playing basketball with my friends at the park

What was your funniest moment?
Seeing my friends try to speak to the parents for the first time.

  • Safe
  • Walkable city

Summer Abroad with Centro MundoLengua

My summer in Cádiz was such a great time, especially in the classroom! The administration was super friendly and made learning Spanish really fun. Classes were small, so we got to practice a lot, and the lessons didn’t feel like just sitting in a classroom. We would apply our skills and practice speaking by going out to local spots, like markets and historical sites, which made learning feel way more real and connected to the culture. It was awesome getting to improve my Spanish while also soaking in the laid-back vibe of Cádiz.

What is your advice to future travelers on this program?
If you’re traveling to Cádiz, embrace its relaxed vibe and take time to explore the charming old town and beautiful beaches. Practice your Spanish skills—it'll go a long way with the friendly locals. Don’t miss the incredible seafood, and be sure to enjoy the lively festivals. Pack for hot weather and make time to explore nearby cities like Jerez. Cádiz is all about soaking up the culture and slowing down, so enjoy every moment!
Pros
  • Immersive Language Learning
  • Cultural Exposure
  • Supportive Environment
Cons
  • Heat During Summer
  • Fewer Tourist Amenities
  • Limited English Use

my experience with Mundolengua

My experience with Mundolengua was amazing. The hospitality, excursions, and education were all very well-crafted and it is truly something I will forever recommend to others! The people from Mundolengua are also the sweetest and most helpful people I have ever come across, and the relationships I made I will forever cherish. Also, being fully emerged in the Spanish cultural helped my Spanish improve immensely. The thing I learned on this trip still come up in my day to day life sometimes and whenever i get reminded, I immediately get a ton of nostalgia. Thank you Mundolengua for everything, it was truly a pleasure :)

What was your funniest moment?
Thinking I was gonna have Batata (sweet potato) for dinner but instead being surprised with potatoes (Patatas).
Pros
  • cost
  • people
  • location
Cons
  • adjusting to the town closing for siesta

Fantastic City, Fantastic People!

I absolutely loved studying abroad in Cádiz, Spain! Mundo lengua did a wonderful job pairing students with host families and Cádiz as a city is not only beautiful but also very intimate/personal compared to other larger cities. I felt both academically challenged and also had time to explore the city! Mundo lengua also did a great job organizing activities!! My personal favorites were the sunset boat ride, paddle boarding, and all of our group meals. Long story short, I would 100% recommend studying abroad in one of their programs!

Centro Mundo Lengua

I had the best experience of my life studying abroad in Cadiz, Spain with Centro Mundo Lengua. It was an adventure of a lifetime! I was able to do amazing things that I never imagined of doing and was able to meet amazing people along the way. One of my most memorable moments was when they took us to La Alhambra in Granda. It was such an incredible experience being there and learning so much about the history with the best tour guide; a dream! I wish I can go back and live everything once again.

If you did this all over again, what's one thing you would change?
One thing I wish I could do over again is not be too afraid to get lost. I was afraid in the beginning so I didn’t explore as much. I would just jump into the adventure of getting lost and explore as much as possible!

Cadiz review

I had a great summer in Cadiz through centro mundolengua. I greatly improved my Spanish and got to see a LOT of Spain. Cadiz is a beautiful city and after class we were able to go on the beach, which was very nice. I’d recommend it to everyone. The restaurants are great and the train rides to other cities are not very long and also provide a lot of scenery along the way. The teachers at the university are very passionate and truly care about helping their students. The university of Cadiz is also a really beautiful school

Cadiz

I fell in love with this city the moment I got there! The people were so welcoming and excited to talk to you. It is such a wonderful place to practice Spanish and learn about a new culture in the classroom and outside the classroom. The climate is amazing and the beaches were unreal. We got to see so many wonderful sights and do so many awesome cultural activities like cooking, surfing, and dance lessons. I would go back in a heart beat because it honestly was one of the greatest experiences of my life.
