About Program

The Master on Education Policies for Global Development (GLOBED) is being developed by a consortium of three European Universities —the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, the University of Glasgow, and the University of Cyprus— together with more than 50 Associate Partners, including UNESCO, Education International and Norwegian Refugee Council.

Programme structure:
Courses in semester 1 are offered by the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB). In semester 2 you will study at the University of Glasgow (UofG) or University of Cyprus (UCY), based on your chosen pathway. In semester 3 you will undertake an internship with one of our associate partners and carry out fieldwork in a developing context. A mandatory winter school hosted by the University of Cyprus will take place in February between semesters 3 and 4. In semester 4 you will work on your dissertation under staff supervision from one of the partners, dependent on your choice of topic.
