About Program
The Master of Arts in International Trade and Economic Diplomacy (MAITED) develops highly skilled international trade and economic policy professionals fully prepared to work productively in the rapidly changing global marketplace. Our graduates work with businesses, governments and nongovernmental organizations on the world's most pressing international trade and diplomacy matters. The 18-month program starts with an intensive training in Monterey in the late summer and continues on with courses in the fall, winter, and spring. The fall semester takes place in Washington, D.C., preparing students by positioning them with access to key international organizations in order to pursue careers in international trade and economic diplomacy. Cross-cultural perspectives are integrated throughout the curriculum, and you may customize your program with language courses during the first two semesters in Monterey.
