About Program
If you've got experience teaching Mandarin, but are looking to brush up your skills this summer, why not join Hutong School's Mandarin Teacher Training Program in Shanghai!
Working with our experienced Chinese teachers for a period of two weeks, you will participate in a mix of language, culture and teaching methodology classes designed to help you upgrade your Mandarin, your teaching skills, and knowledge of Chinese culture. Over a total of 40 classroom hours, you’ll cover current teaching methodology, important issues in modern-day China, and attend high-level conversation classes.
Outside of the classroom you'll take part in various cultural activities including a trip to a Chinese water town, Mahjong and cooking classes.
Please note, this program is aimed at those with a minimum of 2 years Mandarin teaching experience.
