About Program
Teaching English in China. The contract will last for 12 months and you will be employed on the Western coast of China. You will be working 18-30 teaching hours per week, with 2 weeks holiday, additional to national holidays.
A degree is necessary for this position and you can only apply if you have 70-hours of TEFL certification.
The Salary can be anything between 5,500 to 12,000 Yuan Renminbi (currently £500 - £1100). This also comes with a contract completion bonus which will vary from school to school.
The positions in China offer many benefits. Accommodation is provided and paid for by the school, sometimes a stipend is offered instead of an apartment. Your roundtrip may be reimbursed or a predetermined airfare may be offered. A predetermined medical cost may also be offered as China doesn’t have a nation health care policy and sometimes ex-pat travel medical insurance is covered by employer.
