About Program
The InterExchange School Teaching Assistant France program involves a 6-12 week placement assisting one or more full-time teachers at a local school (typically close to Paris). Host family accommodation with meals is also provided, and you will be expected to provide a few hours of informal tutoring to the children of your host family. The total hourly commitment adds up to about 20 hours/week.
Roles of participants vary but can include team teaching, working with small groups in a class, after school support or leading short lessons.
Programs take place in the fall and spring in alignment with the school year.
