About Program

We have placed teachers in Korea since 2007 with zero complaints because we at T.E.I.K. (Teach English in Korea) are a husband-and-wife team who have taught, lived, and worked in Korea as ESL teachers and government officials. We pride ourselves on being a boutique recruitment agency that is always focused on our teachers getting the best job opportunity that fits the teacher's qualifications, experience, and preferences.

We are a very laid-back, low-pressure, expat-owned, and run agency. We also live by the motto, “No B.S., No Drama.” If you are not 100% certain that you feel that you would be a great candidate to teach English in Korea, then don't waste both of our time. We only want to work with caring and honest individuals who have an adventurous spirit, love to travel, and meet new people. We will assist with gathering visa documents, the visa process, placement, arrival to Korea, and continued support during your full year in Korea.

Teaching in Korea

Working in Korea is so much fun. There is always something to do. This unique country offers something for everyone. That being said, you are here to work. There are different types of schools you can work for. Thankfully this program roots out any bad or sketchy school and is there to support you if any problems arise. Depending on your home country you may be in for a surprise when you see Korean work culture. However, you do get time to explore and enjoy the beautiful country. I love the experiences I've gained living and working in Korea. The support I received in my first year helped me to feel comfortable quickly and meet lots of new people to explore and travel with. One last great thing, from Korea it is easy to see the rest of Asia cheaply. I've been able to travel to many other countries while working in Korea.

Pros
  • Great Support
  • Reliable
  • Travel/Experiences
Cons
  • Lots of work
  • Can be lonely at first
  • Bring enough money to support yourself for the first month (get first pay after a month)
