Prepared for the Job

Feb 5, 2023

I.completed this course several years ago, but plans change, and I did not teach then as planned. Now finally I am using the materials as I start my new teaching career in Thailand. I am reviewing the course modules in preparation so they will be fresh again in my mind, and I can follow up on the many preparation recommendations they provide.

In this course I found that the complexity of the English language is presented in a very well segmented form. The modules alternate between technical aspects and practical presentation aspects, so I was never bogged down with grammatical overdose. I found the follow-up support to be very valuable too, as I become a teacher. This course had everything I had hoped for at onset, and went beyond my expectations an many areas.

Pros
  • Value for money
  • Real world application
  • Follow-up assistance

Ittt course is helpful in Ukraine

Jun 11, 2018

I would like to share my experience with all of you. I'm a graduator from the Pedagogical University. I've had an experience in teaching English at the primary state school and at the English courses for children. From time to time elder people ask me to help them with studing English. According to my education I'm a teacher of the Primary school or a teacer of English at primary.
According to my job I' ve always had a lot of questions as to the methodology. Because all the groups are different, different levels of English, even the amount of the pupils can vary.
I like the words: more you know -more you understand that you don't know nothing. So it was the main point for me why I've choosen the Ittt 60 hours course. To tell you the truth I found all nesessary and perticular unswers to my questions.The information of the course has a good structure and all the points has a good explenations. The examples of the tasks goes with the Units. From all the Units I did short plans, so it's easy for me now to look up for information. May be this course wasn't complecated for me because of my previous education. Good points of this course are: In short way you have an opportunity to recolect all grammar and it's usage; the unit about Phonetics is perfect;
the combinations of materials.
Some words I would like to add about the tests foolowed after every unit. They help to confirm your knowledge before passing the controled test.
I practised all the advice given in the course and the lessons became more interesting, the children atended the lessons with great desire.

What would you improve about this program?
As for me I don't have an idea how to prove it. My receipt to be sucssesful in the Ittt Course is: as more you read more you understand and remember.

120 hour Tefl course

Feb 8, 2018

The course material was clearly presented and was reasonably easy to understand. The lesson plan DVDs were very good and made me realise how important enthusiasm and a smile are when teaching people anything. I hope this course is going to provide me with an opportunity to teach English as a foreign language very soon. I think the feedback section at the end of each module helps to keep you on track.

What would you improve about this program?
The lesson plan template proved problematic and not easy to fill in. The Tutor had to send a blank form so I could submit the lesson so that was a bit disappointing.

ITTT TEFL Course in Australia

Why did you choose this program?

I graduated from the University many years ago, and at the very beginning of the course, I really just wanted to check my knowledge. This is an independent course, and everything depended on me. It was interesting to study. Many of the tasks were familiar to me but I have gained a lot of new learning.

What did your program provider assist you with, and what did you have to organize on your own?

I have chosen the course by myself. Nobody assisted me, and I organized everything by myself. My husband organized for the payment, though. This course is quite expensive given the country’s standard of living. On the other hand, the course period is absolutely enough for you to complete it on time. My timetable really depended on me.

What is one piece of advice you'd give to someone going on your program?

Don't be afraid to start this course; it's organized very well. As I have previously said, the course time is enough to manage all the units. However, before starting, make sure that you have enough time to study. It's great that you can repeat and study units as many times as you need it. Make notes for yourself so it'll easier for you to pass the test.

What does an average day/week look like as a participant of this program?

As for me, all the information in the units is very interesting and useful, and I tried to complete the test as fast as possible. I was really aggressive when I had no spare time to read, to study, and to pass the test. During the whole working day, I thought about this course. I got useful information after every unit so I practiced my knowledge during the lessons the next day. It was great.

Going into your experience abroad, what was your biggest fear, and how did you overcome it? How did your views on the issue change?

Today, I can no longer even think about working abroad because of my family. However, I shared to people my completion of the course, and our School Director even congratulated me on Facebook. The parents of my students also congratulated me and said very kind words.

This course definitely gave me more confidence in my abilities, and the rate of belief from my students’ parents also increased. Some of my colleagues asked me to tell them about this course; they are interested!

Is it dangerous to travel to Ukraine?

No. It's not necessary to visit the Eastern part of Ukraine. All others parts are absolutely safe for traveling. My native town is Chernihiv. It's very ancient, and it's interesting for its history, monuments, museums, and nature. People are amazing and kind. Everyone is welcome to Ukraine.
