Level 5 TEFL Course in Europe

This is the most comprehensive TEFL course out there. I have recently completed my level 5 (168 hours) online course. Each unit is full of valuable information and guided with further reading articles and online resources.
The course content is well laid out and presented. The assignments are challenging and require quite a bit of time and planning. Do not assume 6 month access will give you plenty of time to finish the course.
I would highly recommend this course to anyone who is starting teaching, or plans to make a career change.

I learned about this website from a friend. I was very surprised about all the details and the quality of each subject. The organisation was very good, when I had a question I got quickly an answer and the assignments were corrected after a few days. Maybe the greatest part about this course is that it gives the opportunity to work online from everywhere and even travel and go teach everywhere you want. I would totally recommend this for everyone. It gives many opportunities (to learn and to teach).

I'm pleased with this course. I have a master's degree in speech-language pathology and the course assignments were challenging and definitely required thought and care. I gained great knowledge in the specifics of language teaching to typical students. I recommend this course if. You are building your resume or would like to expand your knowledge in this area and have a recognized qualification. The price was good for the level of instruction. It is a good format for self motivated and organized students. Be sure that you complete it in the time provided or you have to pay to extend.

At first, my only hesitation about applying for this course was the fact that I'm not a native speaker. I didn't know if my C1 level would be enough to work on the course assignments..but now, after completing the course, I can safely say that even if you are not a native speaker and you have a language level required, it's doable! This course gives you loads of valuable information including teaching methodologies and tips, lesson plans, resources for teachers, and other useful materials. And I'd also like to highlight the career guidance and job-finding resources you'll have access to so after the course competition it will be more clear what direction to go in your career. Overall, excellent learning experience with The TEFL Academy!

I recently successfully completed the Level 5 TEFL Course with The TEFL Academy. The price, amount of knowledge, materials and optional recommended resources on offer was seemingly endless. As you work through each unit there are progress checks along the way and a unit test at the end which you need to pass before moving on to the next one. The 3 assignments were challenging but the feedback from the tutors was positive and encouraging. I found it harder than I thought I would (it's many years since I've studied anything except tourist guides and menus!) but I thoroughly enjoyed stretching my braincells and learning about my own language. I would recommend the optional 20 hour practical course, which I did in Barcelona. I met some great people - 11 people, 8 nationalities - and it brought clarity to certain areas I was unsure about. I live in Spain and so will be looking to put my knowledge to use here but it's a qualification that can travel with you anywhere in the world. I would definitely recommend it.

I am currently working as a teacher in a primary school in Ireland - I learned a lot while working through the content of this course! It gave me the opportunity to focus on the specific skills required for teaching/learning a language which were not really focussed on in my teacher training. The material was appropriately challenging and there was a lot of supplementary reading and resources provided that were very helpful. I can see how everything I've learned would be necessary for beginning to teach English abroad.

I’m absolutely thrilled to say I recently passed my TEFL level 5 course! I was skeptical at which provider to go with and I know I definitely made the right decision going with teflacademy! I have taken the Level 5 TEFL online course at the TEFL academy based in Dublin, Ireland and I have found it very straightforward and well organised. I have not had any problem whatsoever throughout the course. The contents are all relevant and clearly presented. It is a challenging course and one gets the impression it is "serious" right away, and not light or overly simplistic. To me this is very positive, considering the amount of TEFL providers online. For me it was important to sign up for the TEFL course with an accredited institution that could offer professional training and I was extremely relieved I chose the TEFL academy as soon as I began the lessons.
