Croatia Weekend Trip

I highly recommend Smart Trip. They make things so much simpler than traveling on your own because they take care of all the logistics and you can just enjoy yourself! They figure out transportation, book really great hostels and give you advice on exploring your destination. They have the best guides ever, they are super helpful and friendly! The guides have really great tips and really want to help you make the most out of your trip. I would definitely go again on an adventure with Smart Trip.

I was very hesitant to go on a trip all by myself. The staff was very friendly and made me feel comfortable. This allowed me to step outside of my shell and have the most fun I've ever had before. Croatia is one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen. The hostel living conditions were better than I expected
Since I enjoyed the trip to Croatia so much I went on other trips they offered. Each one of them was memorable. I made so many friends that I hope I can stay in contact with for years.

If you go to Croatia with Smart Trip I encourage you to take advantage of everything they offer. I wish I could keep reliving it. My favorite part of the whole trip was going to the Kirka National park. The waterfalls were absolutely beautiful.

First of all, without the suggestion made by Smart Trip to visit Croatia, I never would have thought to do so. Second of all, this trip was the best weekend of my life. I attended this weekend trip when I was studying abroad in Florence, and I didn't want to leave Croatia once we were there. The Smart Trip tour guides set up walking tours around Split for us, and had us involved in a bar crawl around Split that let us see Split further than the day-time walking tour and allowed us to meet other people that were traveling from all over. This trip included enough guided time and enough free time as to where we were never bored, but we were never stressed with the amount of activities given to us. There is free time for dinner Friday night, which I thought allowed the students to explore the city on their own a bit. Would recommend this trip to anyone, 10/10!

I had the best experience in Croatia, everyone was nice and I even went mountain climbing. Trip was organized and the staff was incredible, met so many cool people during the trip. The hostel that we stayed in was clean and nice and offered a small breakfast, there was also a supermarket walking distance (everything was pretty much walking distance) I participated in a bar crawl that was a lot of fun! I loved how I was able to explore the city on my own while having the option to sign of for events! The bus ride was like 12 hours so I suggest bringing melatonin or something to help you sleep during the duration of the way but it wasn’t that bad. Everything in Croatia was like out of a postcard it was beautiful, I also suggest doing the boat tour and ride.

My group of friends and I used Smart Trip for a weekend excursion to Split, Croatia. It was nothing short of amazing! I 10/10 recommend the Croatia trip and using Smart Trip in general to any students studying abroad in Italy!! We chose to go white water rafting as well and that was amazing. The Smart Trip staff was super funny, knowledgable, and always seemed like they had everything under control which was comforting. I made some of the best memories that weekend and wish I could go back and experience it! It was also cool because you get to meet students from other schools, so at night during the bar crawl we bonded with and became friends with students from Michigan. They provide optional activities for you, but you also get a lot of free time so you don't feel like you're stuck to set schedule.

Plus they have "meet you there" tours, so if you aren't staying in one of the cities their tours leave from you don't have to miss out. You can meet them there and still have amazing tour experience. I highly recommend booking a trip with them as soon as possible!

Croatia with Smart Trip was an absolute blast. Our tour leaders were so fun and organized, they showed us all of the best things to do around Split. The leaders handled everything very well & were professional all while having fun! Activities on the trip included a booze cruise on the Adriatic sea (which was my favorite day), canyoning, & seeing the waterfalls at Krka national park. The boat day was awesome.

Everyone on the tour had a great time, we got to jump off the boat a bunch of times there was also a slide into the water on our boat which was so fun. Krka national park was also really cool. I Don’t know if I could have done all of the cool things I did in Croatia without Smart Trip! I can’t wait to book with Smart Trip again & see more amazing places!
