8 Day Thailand Experience

My husband and I decided that we wanted to travel to Thailand for our honeymoon. We wanted to see as much of Thailand as we could within 2 weeks. After reading the itinerary on trutravels website, we knew the 8 day Thailand Experience was perfect for us.
From the moment we met our tour guide Arthur, we knew we made the right decision. He gave us so much knowledge about the history, culture, do's and don'ts. He was professional, funny and kind. He sang songs, played games and give us the odd shoulder and neck massages!
Trutravels gave us the opportunity to take in the beauty and scenery, meet a great bunch of fellow travellers and stay in fabulous accommodation in various parts of the country.
Besides the itinerary, Arthur offered optional extras at a small cost which added to the experience such as secret mountain where we saw the most spectacular sunset.

I booked on to this trip as I found out last minute I would be traveling alone and felt the need that this would be benificial as a first time solo traveler. My tour guides were ARTHUR and WHISKEY, how amazing these two lads were. I felt safe at all times and felt they knew exactly what they were doing. They were not just tour guides but they became friends too! Honestly could not recommend this tour enough! There were places on the tour that I would never of traveled to myself so that was amazing but I also met some friends for life. I’m actually meeting another girl from the tour who is doing the 14 days to go island hopping with! Thanks lads you were amazing. It was an absolute pleasure and I wish you all the best for the future! Xxxxxx

It was a jam packed holiday, there was always something to do even if it was just chilling by the pool, lake or sea. I saw so many beautiful and awe inspiring places. Be ready to try something new if you do this tour. The tour guides were such lovely people, always up for a laugh and always there to help you. Some of the journeys were a bit long but it's to be expected when traveling. Khao sok national park was my favourite place we visited. It has a huge lake you can swim in, which is the best thing on a hot day. You can go kayaking there. The view there is spectacular, there's no where else like it. I went for the 8 day package but I felt this was not enough, 14 days would have been better. I will definitely come back to Thailand and tour a different part.

8 days of excitement. All the sites were so much fun and absolutely beautiful. Our tour guide Art was the best guide we could’ve had. Superman of all guides. Very knowledgeful and fun. Highly recommend art as a guide for anyone considering tru travel. Felt very safe during the trip. I enjoyed all the temples. bottle beach was my favorite part of the trip. So cool and such great vibes. make sure to play some good volleyball while you’re there. The boat trip was very fun and relaxing. Soaked in all that sun. Made some lifetime friends during this trip and hate to see it end. overall great experience.

The 8 day tour is amazing I would recommend it to anyone, it was the right amount of activities and chill time. We got to kayak, ride quads, visit temples, practice mauy thai, go on boat trips and soak up the sun. The accommodation was varied and staying in a beach hut and a floating boat was a great experience. Our guides partied with us as much as we wanted and showed us the best spots on koh Sam road Bangkok and on the islands and showed us a good time! I would love to go back to Bottle Beach in koh phangyan one day it was like paradise and koh sok national park was like nothing I have ever seen before just as beautiful as the pictures. The food was delicious but the best thing about the tour was our fabulous guides! I can not speak highly enough of both of them. They were kind, knowledgeable and sooo funny we made the best memories. Thank you so much !xxx

This was a great way to get ourselves into the travelling mood. Our tour guide Max was the most helpful guide. He did his job brilliantly.
Only one problem was that we already paid a lot of money to go on the tour and then we spent quite a bit of money when we were there. That’s the only negative.

The activities are that were involved on the tour were amazing and would never had done them if we didn’t do the tour.

I could not recommend this tour or TruTravels enough! I had the best 8 days traveling around beautiful Thailand with such a fun group! My guide Delaney was amazing and super involved throughout the 8 days. Everything was very organized and such a good price for everything thats included! The temples and river cruise were a very cool way to see more of Bangkok. Khao Sok was my favorite stop on tour - probably one of the prettiest places I've ever been and such a hidden gem. Koh Phangan is a fun little island with loads to do. Bottle beach is amazing! I had such a fun time that I extended and did the Full Moon party with more TruTravels guests and would highly recommend if you have the time around full moon! Can't wait to do another tour with this amazing company!

I came out to Thailand two years ago and tried this 8 day tour to help ease me into Asia. I ended up extending onto the 13 day experience because I loved it so much. Two years later I am still traveling Asia and participating in tours!! This is a great way to see Thailand without having to worry at all about the planning - especially if you are a solo traveller. Don't have to worry about meeting others and making friends, everybody cracks on from day 1 and they become your backpacker family. 10/10 would recommend everyone try a tour!
