About Program
We are a family run dog & cat rescue shelter run from our home. We started 14 years ago and have given up our lives to saving as many sick, injured, abused, abandoned, neglected kittens, cats, puppies and dogs as possible. To continue to do this we need volunteers to assistant us DAILY with feeding, cleaning, dog walking and other chores. It is very demanding & hard work looking after the cat and dogs in our care but also very rewarding if you have a real passion for the welfare of animals. We need dedicated, reliable, organised, strong, trustworthy individuals to help us on a daily basis. We prefer volunteers who already have shelter/animal care experience but as long as you are dedicated to helping the animals this is not necessary as training will be given. We also need 2 volunteers who have veterinary and/or shelter experience to manage our rescue for a minimum of 6 weeks alone. This would include also taking care of our home which would be your accommodation during that period
