About Program

Global Education Volunteers (GEVs) with a passion for working with children are needed to bring their unique skills to help Step Up with a diverse range of program activities: English language instruction, computers, health & wellness, art, music, sports, photography, STEAM (science, technology, English, art, and math) activities, and more. We place a strong emphasis on social-emotional development programming and volunteers will also have opportunities to lead activities that cultivate teamwork, creative thinking, leadership, and communication skills. Our programming is based on experiential learning where our children develop confidence, resilience, and self-reliance by actively engaging in all activities. Volunteers can also support program design and assessment and fundraising and marketing activities.
