About

We are recruiting volunteers for Camp Esperanza, a completely free of charge day camp for the local children of Cabrera, Dominican Republic, to take part in activities such as sports, art, music, dance, drama, and more throughout the summer months. The children of the camp range in age from 5 to 15. As the program is completely free of charge for all children, we recruit a group of young, energetic volunteers to help lead the activities at the camp, which is where you come in. Volunteers will be responsible for leading the 5 different activity centers throughout the camp for groups of 15 to 20 children at a time. Each centre will have 2 international volunteers and 1 local volunteer who will work together to plan and implement the activities.
