My internship at Future for Africa was a valuable experience that contributed significantly to my personal and professional growth. Serving as an IT Assistant gave me the opportunity to apply my technical knowledge in a professional environment while learning more about teamwork, communication, problem-solving and the role of technology in supporting community development.

One of the most meaningful aspects of the experience was understanding how technology can support an organisation's daily operations and broader mission. The internship encouraged me to become more responsible, adaptable and confident in approaching workplace challenges.

My time and stay during summer with Future for Africa was really amazing and incredible from assisting in educational support with the kids in school to my evening lively engagements with another group of kids in the community with homework and other assignments was really interesting and inspiring.
Not forgetting the hardworking staff who also made my stay more welcomed from my first day, arranged everything perfectly for us expecially our weekends tours to know more interesting places.

My time as a teaching assistant in Ghana was an experience I will always remember. I had the opportunity to work with local teachers and students, become part of the community, and experience everyday life from a completely different perspective.

What I enjoyed most was the connection I developed with the students. Seeing their enthusiasm in the classroom and being able to support their learning made the experience feel meaningful every day. I also learned that volunteering is not only about what you can give it is also about what you learn from the people and culture around you.

The Future for Africa team was supportive throughout my stay and helped me adapt to a new environment. I always felt that I could ask for help or advice when I needed it.
