Class Teacher Volunteer Program in Ghana

In Ghana, primaries one, two and three of mean age 6, 7 and 8 years respectively have what we call 'Class Teachers'.

The class teacher teaches all the subjects, comprising English, Math, Natural Science, Computer Literacy and Physical Education. This particular volunteer opportunity that we offer is great for professional teachers and also teacher-trainees. It will expand your experience; and is enjoyable too.

You can start this program in any of the following months: January, February, March, May, June, July, September, October, November.

The school you'll be teaching in will be located in the southern parts of Ghana. We have placement schools in seaside towns like Prampram, Accra and Tema. Also, a little bit further inland, you can be placed in Bawjiasi, Abokobi, Aburi, Koforidua or Akropong.

At weekends, our staffs are available as tour guides; to help you see and experience as much of Ghana as you want.
