About Program

Get involved with sports and youth development in Ghana helping to promote a healthier, happier and more active lifestyle. Whether you are a qualified instructor looking to develop and stretch your skills or a sports enthusiast wanting to gain more experience, this program is designed for you.
Sports are an important part of many children’s day to day lives. Social and essential life skills can be learned all whilst having a bit of a fun with friends.

Here at St. Miracle Works we have worked hard to allow volunteers to get involved in the local sporting community.
Our projects are flexible and easily accessible, meaning, as a volunteer you can get creative, designing sessions and activities that suit both you and the children. We aim to get more children actively participating in the sporting community and living a healthier lifestyle.

Consider your impact: Volunteering abroad can be a rewarding experience for both volunteers and local communities, and at Go Overseas, we believe all volunteers should have the resources to make informed decisions about the type of volunteer project they want to partake in. However, despite best intentions, some organizations offering placements in orphanages may unknowingly place children in danger. You can read about the potential dangers of orphanage volunteering here. Learn more about how St. Miracle Works Educational Foundation is promoting ethical volunteering.
