About Program
Volunteering Opportunities are available in the fields of rain water conservation, pre and post natal health care, English teaching in a quaint little village called Mahar, set in district Devprayag region of Uttarakhand, India. Volunteers can decide on the number of weeks they wish to volunteer. The program costs are inclusive of stay in village settings / home stays, material costs and food.
At Eco Path we believe in giving free charge to volunteers. So you can develop your own programs and implement them. This means that once you have enrolled and have got a bit of knowledge about the region, you can develop your own program and develop upon it. All the work will be credited to you, that is done as a result so you will not be a part of a program but founding member of the same. To know more about the areas of work please refer the program details .
A college degree/passion to work and teach the community is an essential criteria for selection in the program.
