About Program
Make a direct impact on Balinese communities teaching English in our partnered after-school learning center, Yayasan Loka Mawa Upadhi, while discovering the beauty of the island as you embark on cultural immersion activities!
Working with local teachers, plan and teach lessons to two classes of 20 students each; we will provide time and support for your lesson creation. When you are not at the learning center, you will develop a deeper connection to the communities you serve through invaluable intercultural journeys. You will have the opportunity to reflect on crucial concepts such as identity, power, culture, and globalization, fostering mutual learning relationships with Balinese students, staff, and communities at large.
