Worldwide Experience: Conserving Wildlife in Namibia
- Namibia
- Windhoek
About Program
Take up this opportunity to contribute to conservation, rehabilitation and research of African wildlife at a wildlife sanctuary currently providing a safe refuge for orphaned, injured or ‘problem’ wildlife who have unfortunately come into conflict with humans. Species receiving care include a number of lions, leopards, cheetahs, wild dogs, caracals , warthogs, antelope and baboons as well as a host of birds, smaller African mammals and farmyard animals. The goal is to release animals whenever possible to live a natural life in the wild. However, not all animals are able to be released back into the wild, and for these animals, the sanctuary becomes their forever home.
We also arrange bespoke study tours, our Eco School Challenge, for school/college/university groups to Namibia!
