About Program
Conservation Travel Africa offers incredible wildlife volunteer programmes in Namibia. Namibia is a place of contrasts characterised by vast open spaces and strikingly diverse, breathtaking scenery, from immense desert landscapes to rugged mountains and desolate coastline. Join one of our volunteer programmes and experience this amazing country for yourself.
Namibia is perfect for volunteers looking for unspoilt wilderness areas, 300 days of sunshine a year and a huge variety of wildlife. Despite its harsh climate, Namibia has some of the world’s grandest national parks and in addition to boasting the largest free-roaming population of black rhinos and cheetahs in the world, it is one of the only countries with expanding populations of free-roaming lions and elephants.
Work on human-wildlife conflict prevention projects, monitor the rare desert-adapted elephant and carry out large carnivore research and conservation, focusing on wild leopard, hyena and cheetah.
