About Program
At Apapachoa we welcome volunteer applicants from all over the world who are passionate and enthusiastic and who harbor a deep love for nature, people and culture; we look for qualities such as orderliness, efficiency, diversity, flexibility
No minimum time required. This program is designed for people who want to acquire new skills in music, gardening and learn Spanish while enjoying the bounties of living in an intentional community that promotes human ecology and nature.
All volunteers are expected to work in the mornings from hours 7:00-12:00 and are not required to participate in afternoon activities or projects. Although if you have a special skill to offer or a desire to teach in Apapachoa afternoons are for that purpose. If interested please send a resume along with a proposal attached to the application. Weekends are free for you to go and explore this beautiful country (we serve breakfast on Saturday morning).
Consider your impact: Volunteering abroad can be a rewarding experience for both volunteers and local communities, and at Go Overseas, we believe all volunteers should have the resources to make informed decisions about the type of volunteer project they want to partake in. However, despite best intentions, some organizations offering placements in orphanages may unknowingly place children in danger.
