We offer a great opportunity to volunteer at a project in South Africa.
Near Ballito there is a township called Shakashead.
Shakashead is in great need and the most vulnerable are the children who are left alone when parents go to work.
Kwa.Mama is a safe haven for those children and also for 50 old and ill people.
Kwa.Mama has an Pre school for children from 2 till 6 year, after school programme for older children and a soupkitchen.
There are a lot of needs but mostly there is a need for English speaking volunteers who would love to work with the children. It is important that the children hear English on a daily basis.
You could assist the teachers, play with the children, give individual attention and if you have special skills we would love to talk about a detailed project you could do. You could also help in the kitchen ore garden.
