About Program
Volunteer and intern at unforgettable Tanzania and world famous Zanzibar Islands. You can participate in teaching in the orphanages, schools, women organizations, environmental and health projects, sport coaching, computing, handicapped care, after care work and we can tailor you a project as well. Our UNICEF Children Agenda program gives you great experience to work with large international NGOs . You can also select a safari community work package where your safari is part of your donation. Accommodation is at volunteers house or at home stay depending on the placement location.
Programs starts every first and third Sunday of the calendar month.
You can select or combine participating in Dar es Salaam, Moshi (Kilimanjaro), Zanzibar, Serengeti and Karatu.
We receive annually some 1,500 volunteers and interns so you will make lots of new friends. We have 70 people staff whereby 10 are expatriate team to secure your happy stay with us.
Consider your impact: Volunteering abroad can be a rewarding experience for both volunteers and local communities, and at Go Overseas, we believe all volunteers should have the resources to make informed decisions about the type of volunteer project they want to partake in. However, despite best intentions, some organizations offering placements in orphanages may unknowingly place children in danger.
