About Program

Volunteering at a school & hospital in Tengeru, Tanzania offers a unique opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of students and people who contribute to the local community. Our volunteer programs range from 2 weeks to 6 months, allowing participants to immerse themselves in the educational system and gain valuable experience.

During your time volunteering in Tengeru, you will have the chance to work closely with students, teachers, doctors, local people, and other staff. Whether you are assisting in classrooms, organizing extracurricular activities, or providing individual support to students, your presence will be greatly appreciated and beneficial to the schools and hospital community.

We understand the importance of supporting our volunteers, which is why we provide accommodation and meals during your stay in Tanzania. You can focus on your volunteer work and cultural immersion without having to worry about logistics, ensuring a meaningful and hassle-free.

Consider your impact: Volunteering abroad can be a rewarding experience for both volunteers and local communities, and at Go Overseas, we believe all volunteers should have the resources to make informed decisions about the type of volunteer project they want to partake in. However, despite best intentions, some organizations offering placements in orphanages may unknowingly place children in danger. You can read about the potential dangers of orphanage volunteering here.
